Well, yes, of course she has an enormous cup of coffee. It's Rory.

"Good morning, Rory," Ms. Readman said as she entered the library, right on time for once. "How are you?"

"Sleepy," Rory answered honestly. "I spent half the night reading. How are you?"

"Oh, I do that every night. That's what very strong tea is for," Yomiko said breezily. "What were you reading?"

"I recieved the complete works of Shakespeare for my birthday yesterday," Rory told her. "I'm working my way through them. Last night was Amleth and Scottish Play and I started on the sonnets."

And now she's awake enough to actually begin to page through one of the books of sonnets that her anonymous friend had sent her.

Luke wandered into the library and smiled. "I'm on a mission," he said.

"Does it involve pie?" Rory asked seriously, marking her page.

"No," Luke said, "but now I want some. I was actually looking for a couple of books." He smiled. "I figured the library would be a good place to start."

"We do have a few here," Rory said. "Any idea on which books?"

Of course, she does work there, so Rory's actually reshelving books and doing her job.

But just because she has a good work ethic doesn't mean she isn't also a teenage girl, and so she spends some quality time with a compact mirror and makes sure she looks reasonably cute. Not that she's expecting to see anyone.

Blair bounced in after his class and waved at Rory. "Isn't it horrible?"

"Isn't what horrible?" she asked, looking up and immediately pretending she had still be reading and not playing with her hair.

"No school next week." Blair said, too sad about that fact to focus on Rory playing with her hair.

"Yes!" Rory said, her eyes wide. "Oh my goodness, no one else has agreed with me about that!"

No, really, not expecting to see aaaaaanyone for lunch, nope.

Bridge bounces in to the library and takes a seat next to Rory. "Good afternoon, countess!" he says with a smirk.

"Hi!" Rory says, bouncing and grinning. "See, if you're going to call me that, I'm going to be sad when my laugh doesn't induce a change in weather."

"Actually," Bridge rummages around in his backpack for something, which he then hides behind his back so Rory can't see. "You should try laughing now," he says, totally innocently.
