Lying and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them, Class #1, Monday Afternoon, Park

Jarod stood in front of the class, a little more nervous about teaching this particular subject. He handed out the syllabus, then some informational sheets, worksheets, and #2 pencils. "Good afternoon. I'm Jarod, and I'll be your instructor for the next seven weeks. Hopefully the class will be both fun and educational for everyone. In our first class, we'll be looking at who you are: If you're looking to play a role, you have to know yourself, to know which roles are best for you. If you're looking to catch a conman, you have to know how to get inside their head, which is generally called profiling and will be something that you'll have to get into with a different teacher."

"So, today, you'll be taking a personality profile. Once you have those results, check out
this guide of career choices based on that profile. It'll be easier for you to play a part if it's natural to you. If you're looking for a conman, it'll be easier to predict which careers he or she might gravitate towards."

"Have fun, and ask me any questions, but today's just a way to get started."

[ooc: Same as before, no Jarod interaction until tomorrow after 6 pm.]

"Apparently, I'm an ESTP. Except I think that putting everyone into sixteen categories is a little silly and unrealistic."

"Was it on-target, or way off?"

"INTJ," Tyler mumbled. "But I agree with Briar, it's bull."

"I don't know. It's pretty scarily accurate with me," Rory said quietly. "What's the T stand for?"

Parker glared at her results. "ENTJ. Field Marshal.... and okay, nothing Sydney hasn't said to me before, but..." It was the trademark quote that was throwing her: "I'm really sorry you have to die."

Everything else was scarily accurate.

"INFJ. I'm always INFJ," Rory noted.

"Introvert Intuitive Feeling Judging, right?" Parker cocked her head. "I get INTJ sometimes, but that's when I'm cranky and hating the universe."
nadiathesaint: (what?)

"Or an activist? 'Advisor,'" Parker read off the page. "Journalist. Actress.... That could be fun."

"I'm an ISTP," says Jaye, who might have been trying to talk back really quietly to her quiz the whole time. "Go, me."

"So you're exactly like me only introverted?" Briar asked with a grin.

"Okay, I'm an ENTP: Extroverted Intuitive Thinking Perceiving." Jack paused and smirked. "Or, Enticingly Near to Perfect."

"I don't know, I think the results are pretty accurate," Jaye says, once she's done eavesdropping and eyerolling.

"ESFJ," Joxer said. "Excellent Sexy Fantastic Joxer." He chuckled. "But this isn't telling me I should be a mighty warrior, so I think it's completely bogus."

"ESJF (http://keirsey.com/personality/sjef.html)," Cameron blinked as he read the career choices (http://www.teamtechnology.co.uk/careers/esfj.htm). "I don't think so."

"I'm INFJ. Apparently I can be a writer, trainer, teacher, or in human resources," Peter said. "Seems kind of appropriate, I guess."

Of course, his definition of "human resources" was rather different than most people's.

"ENFJ, huh?" Elizabeth tilted her head curiously at her results. "I suppose that's me. Mostly at least. And the teaching bit's correct."
