Good morning, everyone! It's time for another summer of Anakin Skywalker Pretends This Teaches Team Building But Mostly Amuses Himself!

Or "Shenanigans."

The bleachers for viewing were set up in the park, close to the pond and near the Belthazor Commemorative Divot. Food vendors, remembering how this worked, had arrived with hot dogs, popcorn, and rum for the squirrels. And coffee. Just...so much coffee. Huge flatscreens were set up facing the bleachers, which the hint that today's event would not just stay inside the park, and the cameras were trained at...well, ankle height or the sky for now because squirrels and rum.

Anakin and his bullhorn were standing behind a folding table stacked high with brightly patterned shirts, and people who had been here before knew that just because the shirts were free, it never, ever meant you wanted to wear them.

"GOOD MORNING!" he boomed through the completely unnecessary bullhorn when enough people were gathered. "Welcome to another summer of team building activities!"

He might be waiting for a while if he was expecting cheers, just saying.

"Today, as has become tradition, we shall conduct a relay race around the island to acquaint you newcomers with where various stores and landmarks are!" he said. "Please listen as your name is called and then come up for your team-building clothing."

AKA: bizarre shirts.

"You will be in four teams of seven players each. You may not use your powers, should you have any, today."

Nell had some free time this morning, so she thought she'd drop by and see what shenanigans were going on today.

Ben had decided to take the kids over to watch...whatever this was that Anakin did on Wednesdays...and so he had them settled with healthy-ish snacks, had successfully convinced the baby not to lick the bleacher (no, Kol, ew), and was trying to pick out familiar faces in the crowd.

Lucy had been told to keep an eye out for team-building in the park, and she was pretty sure this was what Tony had meant, right?

She was actually going to be a little disappointed when her name wasn't called, but spectating seemed like it'd be pretty fun, too.

Arden, bless her heart, had no idea what shenanigans was on the schedule, just that she was supposed to show up for it for a few hours.

Next week, she would almost certainly wear something less cute for it, but today was a Learning Experience^TM

Look. This only confirms everything Atton has told Dean about Anakin. Absolutely.

"Not going to lie," Dean said buttoning up. "I'm digging the shirt."

Of course he would.

Eleanor was frowning at her shirt a little, unable to help but wonder if her team placement was somehow oddly targeted.

Which was ridiculous, coincidences were a thing, but still!

She was still going to have to show her mother next time she visited, though.

Rey knew of Bigfoot. If anything she'd only ever seen that one picture.

So this was getting a "Huh," as she put the shirt on.

"How exciting!" He would, of course, burn this shirt after. Also, lose that enthusiasm after being forced to run. Let him live in this falsehood a little while longer, though.

Considering how some of his classes thus far had included Video Games and Banana Food Crimes, Stewart really didn't think anything about there being something called Shenanigans blocked out for a good portion of Wednesday. In fact, Shenanigans sounded like something right up his alley.

Stewart was about to be very disappointed in what kind of Shenaningans they were.

Well, until the shaudenfruede kicked in, anyway.

The whole process would be a roller coaster. For example, he was all but hissing at the brightness of the sun right now, but he was being handed a hoodie that he actually really enjoyed, aesthetically, that he could put on and flip up the hood and brood under while taking stock of exactly what all this was so.....zero sum game, at the moment. Let's see how this all played out...

Lydia buttoned the shirt up over her dress and decided to think of it as a kind of smock, as one might wear in the stillroom or when painting. Certainly she wouldn't mind if it was ruined.

Don didn't really understand what was going on here or how his name had come into it, but he'd done many a hospital team-building exercise before and hey, free shirt!

Thor was going to hide and/or burn the shirt when he saw it, but for now it was a free shirt!

"Aw," Raiden said when he saw his shirt. "It's cute!" Were drop bears real? He had gotten conflicting information on that front over the years, and mostly he was wondering because he wondered if they were delicious. Koalas tasted like ass, but what about drop bears?

Summer shrugged a little after looking at her shirt for a moment and then tugging it on.

"Either Anakin's losing his touch," she mused mildly, "or we're in for some really gnarly shit toward the end of the semester...."

The first two members of each team (Jane & Mariner, Cal & Gale, Miguel & Steve M, and Lana & Steve R) must run from the park to the junkyard. There you must find a non-flat tire, three pieces of metal, and something shaped like a triangle or a pentagon. Take these supplies and run them alllll the way down (with the stairs) Loon Drive to the corner of Griffin Way where you'll meet your team member.
