"Dresses and shoes and gloves and wraps and jewelry...." Parker might be making a list. And checking out dresses online for Alanna. She pops a grape in her mouth. "Do you think Alanna would look better in peach or blue?"
"Deep green, maybe, yeah. Not mint. Her hair's too bright for that," Parker said, nodding. "She wanted to wear one of her old dresses, but honest to God, she'd roast to death in that velvet. Especially if the place is as packed as I think it's going to be."
"Not something you want to put on the application to Harvard?" Parker speared another bite of salad. "Or are you just hoping to see the look on Aeryn's face if she wins?"
Peter walked into the library where there were - hopefully - no pirats making too much noise for him to concentrate. He had his government notes and was ready to start preparing for next week's final.
But first it couldn't hurt to stop and talk to Rory. "Hey. How're the books treating you today?"
"There was an epic revolution earlier, involving books and stickbugs and caterpillars and all sorts of critters," Rory said seriously. "But I got them under control again."
Peter knew Rory was just kidding. That's the kind of thing that would make the announcements. "Well done. How'd you take care of it? A stern look and cookies? That works for me when books and critters revolt."
"Well, cake instead of cookies," Rory said. "And these guys were foreign critters, so I had to give them a stern look and add some random French words."
"Ooh. Good move. I'll have to remember that for future use," Peter said. "So, aside from quashing revolutions, how go things? Getting ready for prom and/or finals?"
Second Period
What? It's totally productive.
Re: Second Period
Kurt checked the clock on the wall. It seemed like it was moving in slow motion.
"Ach," He glared at it. "Evil time mutant!"
