Rory stared at him. "Breathe. Um, white's your best bet, since it goes with everything. Red, yellow and orange are all out because they'd look weird. Same goes for pink. You could go with something like black or very dark roses, or white, or get creative and go with white orchids or lilies. I assume we're talking corsages, right?"
"Yeah, so you want to go with something unique. Do you know the color of her dress, at least?" Rory asked. "Because you don't want to clash with that either."
"I know nothing of the dress. It's supposed to be a surprise," Peter said. "I just know that I'm putting a lot of faith in this Claude guy to not mess with me and I hope he comes through."
"I'd go with white, then," Rory said with an air of finality. "Hedge your bets. Stick to an unusual flower if you can, though - and avoid roses like the plague."
"Well, now that I have you curious about that, I should probably study. Or go rent a tux. One of those two things," Peter said. "Do you know if there's any place to rent a tux around here that wasn't selling whoopie cushions a couple weeks ago?"
