Lifestyle Seminar, here today.

The score is 127 for 5 (Flintoff caught and bowled by Warne), and the players are off for lunch. FOW at 2, 67, 67, 109, 126. Slartibartfast turns off the radio, opens his door and looks out at the deserted corridors of the school. He pins a note to the door.

Lifestyle seminar. Please come in and discuss your recent writing assignment, I'll be back in a bit.

And then he strolls off down the hall, leaving the door open, looking for some refreshment himself.

*Jeff isn't enrolled for the lifestyle seminar - he's not sure what one is - but he can't seem to find his way into the dorms at the moment so he drags his bag into the back row and tries to look inconspicuous.*

*Caroline plays with her yo-yo. Each time it goes down it makes an annoying weeeeeeeeeeeeeee sound*

*She looks over at a boy she doesn't yet know*

Morning. *she smiles*

*Seeing the new boy* You've not seen a boy with really blond hair recently have you, might be carrying a wand?

*Caroline walks in slowly, hoping she isn't the first to arrive. Not seeing anyone she walks to the back of the class and sits on a table, taking out a purple yo-yo and a cheese sandwitch*

[identity profile] lauraholt.livejournal.com 2005-09-12 11:48 am (UTC)(link)
*sits down, waits for someone else to arrive to start the discussion*

[identity profile] the4thsister.livejournal.com 2005-09-12 12:16 pm (UTC)(link)
*Paige walks in seeing as the teacher is away, she decides she could probably get away with it anyway*

Erm should [livejournal.com profile] pure_blooddraco be in here?

[identity profile] http://users.livejournal.com/_steele_/ 2005-09-12 12:32 pm (UTC)(link)
::Steele walks in confidently, holding what appears to be swiss cheese and monopoly money::

So, what did everyone get up to with their CHEESE?!!

*he winks at Laura and takes a seat to the side of the room.*

[identity profile] lauraholt.livejournal.com 2005-09-12 01:08 pm (UTC)(link)
*sees Steele wink, blushes as he sits beside her*

[identity profile] rosefern-todd.livejournal.com 2005-09-12 12:37 pm (UTC)(link)
*Kate reads the note pinned to the door, comes in and takes a seat.*

So, I suppose we ought to start the discussion.

My main problem is that Cheese caused me to lose a boyfriend.

[identity profile] http://users.livejournal.com/_steele_/ 2005-09-12 12:46 pm (UTC)(link)
*Steele turns to her and looks sympathetic*

That must have been awful for you?

[identity profile] lauraholt.livejournal.com 2005-09-12 01:33 pm (UTC)(link)
*begins with her piece*

Throughout my life, cheese has helped me greatly. When I was 7, we had a small mouse infestation in our house. My mother was allergic to cats, so my father, instead set up traps, baited with cheese around the house. While ghastly at best, it did the job. And lately, with transferring here to fandom high, my total and utter lack of cooking skills has left me surviving on toasted cheese sandwiches and frozen cheesecake. They might be small incidents, and in the grand scheme of things insignificant, but that is how I have been affected, and helped, by cheese.

Well obviously, cheese stops hunger right? And lets not forget the downside of cheese; those who are allergic and month-old mould.

Am I on the right page sir?

Draco walks into the classroom and takes a seat in the back. With all the business he has been doing for the Dark Lord he almost forgot to go to class.

I suppose cheese could be used a torture device if someone is lactose intolerant. But as for my personal life I really can't say cheese has been too much of an impact. Of course I did love the cheese toasties the house elves used to make for me when I was little.

[identity profile] the4thsister.livejournal.com 2005-09-12 03:38 pm (UTC)(link)
*Paige goes over to Draco* Erm I was just checking everything was ok. But this isn't my class so I'm going... somewhere else now

[identity profile] comewillingly.livejournal.com 2005-09-12 06:30 pm (UTC)(link)
*slides in and takes a seat all late, looking embarrassed*

Oh goodness. Um.. sorry I'm late. Hi everyone, I'm Terra.

[identity profile] neptune-wallace.livejournal.com 2005-09-12 07:18 pm (UTC)(link)
*is also late*

*sits in the front, as the back is taken already*

Umm, yeah - cheese is cool, you know, because it's, umm, chessy and stuff. It tastes great on nachos, and I never even pretend to eat broccoli without it.

rushes in, arms full of books

I'm dreadfully sorry about being late, professor, I was looking for one of my roommates in the library - she's been missing for days, and I was investigating ther possibility of a curse or enchantment there.

*Hamlet enters the class with a large coffee and slumps into a seat. He doesn't do mornings. He's been up much of the night with bad dreams. He mumbles to himself, and pulls out a half eaten Havarti sandwich.*

Hi. So, cheese, right?
