Cally, having had enough of this "Jingle Bells" silliness, approaches the Tick and smiles.

"Hi. I'm supposedly playing this Mary person."

"You're Cally, right?" Tick asked, remembering her from his sidekick tryouts.

"You're playing Mary? We'll have to make sure to get this one right!" Tick didn't take the tape measure. He instead reached into the box and picked out a spandex suit approximately Cally's size and a white cloak.

"Try this on," he said, handing her the cloak.

Still facepalm at Crichton, Callisto wanders over. "Hey, Professor Tick. I'm playing a sheperd."

"Hello, Callisto! Shepherd..." Tick began digging through his box. "Let's see. Ah! Here we go!"

Tick pulled out a large, wool cape. It had probably been owned by a viking superhero or something, because it was several sizes too big.

Callisto holds the cape out at arms length. "Uh, thanks Professor."

She tries putting it on, the bottom foot of the capes drags along the ground.

Anakin walked over a little warily, seeing what Cally and Callisto had walked away with. "Hello, sir. I'm not sure what I'm supposed to be dressed as." He held up his banthabell. "I'm here to help with the music, you see."

"Hello, Anakin! Let's see... Music. Banthabell. Huh." Tick looked at the box. It didn't speak to him.

"Rory? Do you have any suggestions for our musical accompaniment?"

"Um." Rory surveyed Anakin thoughtfully. "I suppose we could dress him in something traditional, but take it in another direction, since he's not technically part of the nativity. Like, something fitting with the Christmas theme."

She tried very hard to keep her face straight. "Do you think that if we somehow got ahold of a Santa suit it would be completely inappropriate? Barring that, there were animals present at the birth, and we could work with that."

Anders stares at the Tick. Except he's really not. But he is.

Not that he'll admit it.

"Uh. Hi. Anders." He coughs. "Samuel Anders, and I'm supposed to be -- yeah, I know, it's a joke, right? -- a Wise Person?"

After hopefully escaping with his life because he'd been goofing off and had gotten caught, John wanders over to the costume fitting area.

"Uh, I'm playing...LittleDrummerBoy," he says quickly.

"Hello, John!" Tick said as he hid his neural controller. "Little Drummer Boy? Little... Drummer... Boy... Egads! That's it!" Tick ran to the box. His sheer size blocked John's view of that he was grabbing.

Bridge bounces up to the Tick (because it's easier than ever to bounce in moon shoes) eagerly. "Hi! I'm supposed to be Joseph."

He looks shifty for a second. "But before we start doing the costumey thing? I think I should tell you, blue's not my color. At all. I can definitely do spandex though."

"Spandex? You're my kind of chum, chum!" He looked in the box and pulled out a very respectable green and white spandex suit and a white cape. "Joseph needs a cape, after all!"

Bridge's smile gets even wider, and he bounces extra-high in the moon shoes. "Green! Perfect! Thanks, Tick-dude!" He has his doubts about the cape because OMG, next PR series but they're more or less drowned out by his enthusiasm as he bounces off to the dressing room to put on the suit.

John's just leaving from his costume fitting when he spots Angel. And laughs. And laughs some more. And then he drums his spoons at Angel before going back to dance.

Tick saw Angel and paused. "Tonight is for the Theater. I'd still like to speak to you during my office hours tomorrow night if you can make it." He walked over to the box and started looking.

Tick smiled at the skeletal student. A six-foot-tall skeleton doing jazz hands probably may have escaped the notice of most people. The Tick was not most people. "Well, The Dean seemed interested in me showcasing my superhero-themed fashion, so I ran with that! Spandex, capes, bold colors... It's all part of the standard superhero uniform!"
