*slides a note under the door so as not to get conscripted*

How can a place like Fandom High have a holiday pagent that doesn't include "Christmas at Ground Zero"?

Cally signs in. She is thankful she was able to catch a nap thanks to Bio being cancelled. She is not thankful she's here, though.

Anakin signed in.

Slightly sullenly.

Anakin had a bad feeling about "Jingle Bells."

He looked at the music.

The bad feeling didn't go away.

John signs in. He's a wee bit nervous about having to wear spandex.

"Hey Anakin," John says, picking up a song book. "Oh my god, The Chipmunks? Oh god."

"My student assistant DEATH will be working on the dance. He will explain what is necessary."

"This will be on hold until I finish writing the script. However, The Tick should be here to measure and design your costumes."

Callisto signs in. She does not look the least bit nervous. Nope.

"Huh, why are we singing about rodents?"

"Just wait," John says and proceeds to hit himself with the songbook. "We're singing. Oh god."

"Hey," Cally shrugs as she grumbles. "Could be worse. At least we're getting costumes and not being forced to show how the naked Puritan People celebrated the first Crispmass or whatever it is."

"Don't let Bristow hear you say that," John whispers behind the songbook. "If he does get that idea, I nominate you for Puritan Naked Person #1."

"No nakednesss!" Callisto looks like see wants to thwap Crichton with her songbook.

"Definitely. There is no strange Crispmass traditions involving nakedness, right. Right?" Cally looks at John pointedly. She doesn't blame him at all, noooooo.

John shrugs. "We could make some up, I guess. I mean, Strip Triad for Thanksgivaling, I mean Thanksgiving, was a new tradition for us."

Rory warily entered, holding a pencil, a tape measure, and a notepad.

"I'm helping out Professor Tick. Does that sign outside apply to me, too?" she asked, looking as though she feared the answer.

[ooc: Oh, please, please say it does. She needs to do something ridiculous. :)]

Callisto suddenly had a very good idea where that toaster got it from.

"Don't look at me like that," John tells her and whaps her lightly with the songbook. "No one had to agree to play!"

*DEATH crawls? to the front of the group, stopping at sporatic intervals to splay his bony fingers in a spastic, yet expressive manner. He is wearing utilitarian robes, a bowler, and split-sole jazz shoes. Those that cannot see him still feel the sense of rhythm and dread.*

*The speech seems slightly contrived, as though from a book and each student is given the impression that he will be watched carefully for form.*

"Hey!" Callisto continues glaring at Crichton. "I was drunk, you shouldn't ask girls to get naked when they're drunk."

"Right. Totally not fair. At all."
