Inside... Dean Bristow sits, looking over some plans...

*DEATH crawls? to the front of the group, stopping at sporatic intervals to splay his bony fingers in a spastic, yet expressive manner. He is wearing utilitarian robes, a bowler, and split-sole jazz shoes. Those that cannot see him still feel the sense of rhythm and dread.*

*The speech seems slightly contrived, as though from a book and each student is given the impression that he will be watched carefully for form.*

Anakin looked around the room. He might be the only person there, other than the Dean, who could see what DEATH was doing.

Sithspit.

He looked around, slightly panicked. "Um, Dean Bristow? Do I have to dance, or am I here strictly for percussion?"

Please, please don't make me dance.

[OOC: Please, please make him dance.]

"Put a little feeling into it. Happy feet~~, padawan~~."

*DEATH nods in Anakin's direction*

Cally looks around.

"Erm... anyone else creeped out?"

"Me," says Anders, coming up behind her. "Where exactly are we supposed to be looking?"

*DEATH places a hand on Anders shoulders*

*The spot on your shoulder feels very, very cold. You have the impression that, despite not seeing the speaker, it is likely not in your best interest to deny him*

Anders yelps in surprise, and starts poking at the area around the cold spot on his shoulder, worried that he hurt something during practice.

"Who's Fozzie?"

"Whoa, champ?" Cally eyes Anders, concerned. "You okay?"

Anders points at his shoulder again. "Cold. Kinda creepy." He bites his lip and gives Cally a wide-eyed look of 'help me.' "Tell me you hear that voice too?"

"Yeah, I guess I'll have to ask one of 'em. I kinda need visual references. Uh -- no offense."

"There's no one there," John says but starts randomly shuffling his feet while shivering.

"You noticed too, huh?" mutters Anders, who proceeds to go through what he hopes nobody will recognize as a Pyramid footwork drill while he flails his arms about randomly.

Anakin looked deeply, deeply unhappy.

"I can see our, um, instructor," he muttered. "He wants it a little more like, um, this."

He then gave a pretty good impression of someone getting hit by Dark Side lightning.

With jazz hands.

And a look on his face that just dared somoene to laugh at him.

The look on John's face might be akin to horror. But, if that's what they needed to do...

John made a viable attempt at imitating Anakin's movement, complete with flaily legs, widely splayed and moving fingers and a sullen look.

Cally doesn't laugh.

Instead, she mimics his dance stylings exactly.

~~Though she wishes instead she was butt-shimmying with Kara.~~

Lucky for Anakin, Anders is too creeped out to laugh -- whether he's creeped out by the fact that he can't see DEATH, or that Anakin can, it's hard to say.

He attempts to imitate Anakin's dancing, and only succeeds in making Anakin look really good in comparison.

"Smooth moves, Anders." Of course, John shouldn't really be talking. He's somewhere between the MC Hammer and dislocating his knees.

Callisto tries to copy Anakin. She does a reasonable job of it.

However, her Jazz Hands look more like Spirit Fingers.

"Kick your leg high," John says. "I dare you!"
