Anakin looked deeply, deeply unhappy.

"I can see our, um, instructor," he muttered. "He wants it a little more like, um, this."

He then gave a pretty good impression of someone getting hit by Dark Side lightning.

With jazz hands.

And a look on his face that just dared somoene to laugh at him.

The look on John's face might be akin to horror. But, if that's what they needed to do...

John made a viable attempt at imitating Anakin's movement, complete with flaily legs, widely splayed and moving fingers and a sullen look.

Cally doesn't laugh.

Instead, she mimics his dance stylings exactly.

Lucky for Anakin, Anders is too creeped out to laugh -- whether he's creeped out by the fact that he can't see DEATH, or that Anakin can, it's hard to say.

He attempts to imitate Anakin's dancing, and only succeeds in making Anakin look really good in comparison.

"Smooth moves, Anders." Of course, John shouldn't really be talking. He's somewhere between the MC Hammer and dislocating his knees.

Anakin was't sure whether to be gratified that everyone else is as bad as he is or terrified that they'll be this bad in front of an audience.

He chose to be terrified.

He's a glass half empty kind of guy.

He's still dancing, though.

Callisto tries to copy Anakin. She does a reasonable job of it.

However, her Jazz Hands look more like Spirit Fingers.

"Kick your leg high," John says. "I dare you!"

"Guysguysguys! We should wear these!" exclaims Bridge, bouncing up in his moon shoes. "You can kick really high with these on! Watch!"

He proceeds to demonstrate, enthusiastically. ~~It looks like the product of an unholy union between an 80s Nickelodeon game show and a wacky Japanese sentai episode.~~ The Rockettes might be jealous.

Anakin looked with horror at Bridge and Callisto high kicking.

Jedi don't high kick.

Not after the Republic Day Incident 150 years ago, anyway.

"If I dare you to high kick, will you?"

"Not even a little bit," Anakin said firmly. "One of the more obscure parts of the Jedi Code forbid it."

He made a face. "There was an Incident." The capital was clear in the way he pronounced the word.

Callisto high-kicks. She isn't imagining that she's aiming at Crichton.

"Not bad, Shepherd Callisto." John keeps randomly flailing. "Can you do a cartwheel?"

Sighing, Callisto does a cartwheel, and a backflip, just to show off.

*DEATH hands you a pair of ballet slippers, in pink.*

There's a pair of pink ballet slippers in John's hands. Where in the heck?

"I can't wear these! These are girly!"

John shivers, unlaces his shoes and puts on the ballet slippers. He is set to kill anyone that laughs.

*DEATH does a reasonable jazz hands move, facillitated by the lack of connective tissue. He seems oblivious that most cannot see him, instead "getting into his groove"*

Callisto doesn't now why she suddenly has the urge to keep her fingers stiff.

She goes through the movements again, this time with stiffer fingers.

"Um, thanks," Anakin said, blushing furiously. "Is that what we're looking for, then?"
