Anakin had a bad feeling about "Jingle Bells."

He looked at the music.

The bad feeling didn't go away.

"Hey," Cally shrugs as she grumbles. "Could be worse. At least we're getting costumes and not being forced to show how the naked Puritan People celebrated the first Crispmass or whatever it is."

"I'm wondering about the properties of a hula hoop. If we give them one, will their voices drop down a couple octaves? Because there's no way I can hit those notes."

"Could if we stabbed ourselves in the leg with a fork," Angel suggested, looking as though he wanted to do that right now because it would somehow lessen the overall pain of having to be there.

Anakin didn't yelp, nor did he jump a bit at hearing Angel's voice behind him.

Because that would be deeply humiliating.

He also didn't try to beat Angel to death with his banthabell.

Because Dean Bristow was right there and Anakin wasn't suicidal.

He settled for glancing quickly at Rory, then glaring at Angel.

"I'd be happy to volunteer to stab you if you'd like," he said. "You know, in the spirit of this festival of giving."

Cally grumbles and takes the stage. She looks at the songbook, and attempts to start singing.

"Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells, Jingle all the way..."

She stops, and pauses. "Kinda repetitive, isn't it?"

Angel looked over the song choices. He actually smiled at a few of them. Then he looked over at John and an idea occured to him.

"Dean Bristow, sir?"

"While these are excellent choices and I agree with each and every one of them, I think I'd be remiss if I didn't point out that it's missing Dominic the Donkey, which John is excellent at singing."
