Tick saw Angel and paused. "Tonight is for the Theater. I'd still like to speak to you during my office hours tomorrow night if you can make it." He walked over to the box and started looking.

"I was hoping to," Angel said. He added, "Dean Bristow - um - encouraged me to do this. I'm sorry. I'm not trying to bother you or Rory."

"It's the Christmas Season and you're here to celebrate." It was a statement. That was the story Tick was telling himself until he had more time to have a deeper conversation with Angel.

"So, what are you? Wait, there's only one thing left, isn't there?" Tick grabbed a large white robe and a sparkly gold circle. "You're the angel, aren't you?" Tick almost laughed.

"Yep," Angel said as he took the robe and halo. The white and gold stood out in glaring contrast to his otherwise entirely black ensemble. It didn't do his pale skin any favors either. "Dunno why they thought of me for that."

Tick did laugh this time. "Irony is a cruel mistress. Go to the dressing room and try the robe on."

Angel wondered how to put this delicately. "Do I... ahem... only wear the robe?"

"Egads, no! You're the angel! For all I know, you'll be lifted from the ceiling! You'll be wearing normal clothes under that. White, though, to go with the theme. I just don't have anything like that on me at the moment."

Angel looked down at his midnight black clothing. "Me either. Should I buy something?"

"No, no, Angel. Don't worry about it. I'll find something! I am the costume coordinator, after all." Tick was trying to keep his natural enthusiasm down. He'd have to see how tomorrow went.
