For those who didn't see the edit, the newspaper crew meeting is now in the Journalism classroom.


William sits on one of the desks in the classroom, waiting a little anxiously for others to arrive. He holds onto his notebook tightly.

Twenty seconds later, the faculty advisor appears. Still clad only in his trousers, a bottle in one hand and a pack of cigarettes in the other, Spider avoided his desk to choose a chair directly across from William. Dropping into the chair, he slung a leg over the arm, leaning back and taking a long swallow before thumping the bottle on the table and lighting a cigarette.

"So. Slow night for the newspaper?"

William blinked.

"Technicaly it's not actually time for the meeting to start yet. I just didn't want anyone getting here earlier than me, since I have to run this thing."

Spider lit up, leaning back to blow a cloud of smoke into the air. "What, you've never heard of a dramatic entrance?"

*skids into room in full panic mode* Professor Jerusalem? We need your help sir we were fightin' the squallin' gremlins and Phoebe got bit and now we don' know what'll happen I mean Anders was naked and...if you can please come help.

Veronica runs into the classroom.

"I'm here. Am I late? Sorry - a group of went to dinner at the Chinese restaurant in town."

"Not late," William assures her. "Sit down."

Veronica sits, pulls out her day planner and a pen to take notes and finally glances around the room.

"Um... where is everyone?"

Rory arrives a scant minute or two behind Veronica.

"Um yeah...what Veronica said. Chinese...lost track of time...." She pauses and observes the mere three people occupying the room. "Am I late?"

I run in and throw myself in an empty desk. "Sorry! I'm late! Barely got back in town! Did I miss anything thrilling?"

"Paper will be weekly," William says. "Does Monday sound reasonable for people? That gives us the weekend to put it together."

Veronica nods.

"That works fine for me - would we be holding any kind of meeting that day, or simply publishing?"

Phoebe wanders in, looking a bit mussed. Her hair is wild and there appears to be blood stains on her shirt.

"Sorry I'm late, there was an attack in the dorms. One of the bloody bastards bit me."

She slides into a seat near the door. "Did I miss anything?"

Veronica glances at Phoebe's disheveled appearance.

"Are you okay?"

"Bit you?" Spider extended the bottle. "Take two swallows of this and pour a bit over any open wounds." He grinned suddenly. "I can't guarantee it'll do any good, but at least you'll be feeling no pain."

"We're going to publish the paper on Mondays," William says. "So we have weekends to put it together. Haven't decided anything beyond that."

Chloe slips in right behind Phoebe, keeping a good eye on Phoebe before glancing around. "Sorry. I was helping out with the gremlins." She sits down next to Veronica, still picking bits of fur off of her pants.

"We heard," William murmurs, and quickly recounts what they've gone over. "Next order of business is probably formatting, since I think everyone here knows what they're going to be doing for the paper?"

Veronica chuckles.

"That sounds like something for your Wall of Wierd."

Phoebe is glad to see Chloe. That meant that there was someone that could back up her story as to what happened.

William watches Zero, and then glances back at the other's. "Meeting's over for tonight. Next one's this Sunday, if all of you are out of the medic's by then. I'll write up what we've agreed on and how I think we should do things, and if you disagree we'll talk about it next time."

I was going to go around the school, getting a few words from students (and possibly teachers) on the strange happenings going on around here.

William runs his hand through his hair tiredly. "Looks like we're just wrapping up, actually." He indicates the little knot around Phoebe. "We should probably get out before this goes pear-shaped. I'll make a post to tell everyone what was decided, and there'll be a more organised meeting on Sunday."
