Faith nods as she reads the list. "Wow, these are actually really good ideas. I really like the plans for kids staying over the holidays- which we should probably get started on, since Thanksgiving is in a few weeks."

"And as far as self-defense classes, maybe even student volunteers could run it, if we can't find a teacher willing to teach. I know that there are a lot of really talented students as far as that goes."

Parker reads this, and frowns. "What's the Special Event committee? I thought we already had one of those."

"Anyone have a problem with starting a Peer Tutoring program? I was considering volunteer sign-ups, but this might also be a way for some of the students to earn money, if the school wants to support this program. They'd obviously need to be certified if we were going to pay them, though. Preferences, thoughts?"

"I'm going to contact several National Honor Societies, and get their guidelines for establishing a branch here. Does anyone see a problem with this? The usual standards are a 3.5 GPA and about 20 hours of community service a year. Comments?"

"Do we need to hire teachers or babysitters while they're here? Or offer banquets or meetings?" Parker frowns. "What period of time are we talking about, anyway? How long is the Thanksgiving break, and how long is the end-of-term break?"

"Sir? Would it be possible to start our branch of the Honor Society at the end of this semester? I don't think anyone wants to require the teachers to hand out grades when we only have a month left, and it would give people time to get ideas for community service projects underway."
