Student Council Meeting, October 31, 2005

Phoebe shows up and starts laying things out. Her face is white and her eyes are angry, but she seems to be in perfect control. She smiles as people enter the room.

"Happy Halloween, guys."


ETA: The mun will be in and out as there are mas trick or treaters tonight.

Any thoughts about how parents weekend went? How we can be better prepared? How events can be organized better?

"On the security end, I'm going to say good. As far as I know, no fights, no illegal weapons, and no major mental breakdowns. Maybe next time have the kids greet their parents by the door though? I know some did, but others..."

"Not at all. I'm just not sure there's a way to make it happen. I can see forty kids suddenly coming down with strep for Parent's Weekend, if we try to do this. But it might still be a good idea-- I think some of the parents were wandering around lost, and we were lucky none of them were eaten by a locker. Or squid."

Alanna smiled weakly. "Well, I was keeping an eye on the going ons, making sure that no one was near the locker for one thing. But yeah, parents need to be chapperoened better."
