Wednesday: What was the school board thinking giving Jamie Madrox a teaching position?

Today's class was in the danger room but there doesn't appear to be a reason why. In fact there is only one Jamie Madrox standing in front of the class today looking rather subdued.

"Today's class... is simple," Jamie declared. "Today's assignment? Cut class."

And with that being said, Jamie turned on his heel and walked out of the classroom.

Gosh that seems simple, doesn't it?

As you try to exit the classroom the Danger Shop does it's magic and you suddenly find yourself in a green field. In front of you are a bunch of Jamies dressed up like different multi-colored birds. They look rather upset. Especially by the way they squawk.

Did I also mention the Jamies who are a fair distance away wearing green pig outfits? Hiding behind a wooden bunker?

Oh yeah, and there's a giant slingshot.

Dave was trying to do the math. But he was from the year 1980. He had no idea what the hell was happening here.

A Jamie started bouncing in front of Dave. In a red outfit. And Squawking.

SQUAWK!

See? Squawking.

And the he jumped into the sling shot.

She had a chance to hit her teacher with her teacher using a slingshot and it looked mandatory.

"Let's do this," she said, wondering how exactly you fit a Jamie in a slingshot.

Oh look! There's a Jamie dressed in black hopping up and down and squawking at Annie before jumping into a slingshot.

He thwapped himself in the face with the notebook in his hand, hoping it was an illusion. He peeked. It wasn't.

Oh, look. Ballista.

...no, still not making sense. He glared at the bird!Jamies.

And the Jamie!Birds squawked back. And glared too.

And then one jumped into the slingshot.

Damnit. Scully started looking around for a way to -- deal with the madness. Somehow.

There's a reason that weapons are banned at school. The fact that Jamie has not been shot on school grounds yet might be grounds for getting that rule repealed by Zoe.

Regardless there was a blue costumed Jamie squawking at Scully before jumping into the slingshot.

Jamie was good at that sort of thing.

He was also good at dressing in a yellow bird costume and jumping up into the slingshot with a loud "SQUAWK!"

Warren looked at the bunker. And then at the Jamies. And then, again, at the bunker with the Jamie-pigs in it.

"... At least he doesn't expect me to be the angry bird."

There would have been indignant sputtering, if that had been the case.

Oh. But they do expect you to Warren. They do. In fact all the Angry Bird Jamies have slowly been surrounding you and are now squawking at you to get in the slingshot.

"SQUAWK!"

See? Squawking.

Sam knew it. He knew that this couldn't have been an easy as planned. And now he was facing a bunch of angry birds that looked like Jamie Madrox and he was going to have to do...something.

Man, he should have just taken physics or something.

And that would be an Angry!Jamie bird dressed in blue jumping up and down squawking at Sam until it hopped into the slingshot.

The bird then looked over at Sam's shoulder and gave him an irritated "SQUAWK!" as if he was tired on waiting on the slacker.

Yeah, Jake had no idea. He could outrun the Jamies, but then there was no door so he had no clue where he was supposed to go to. Inside the bunker?

A blue Jamie squawked at Jake and hopped into the slingshot and looked back at Jake expectantly.

The first thing Seifer had done way back in May was to get a local cell phone. And then, there had been the internet class. Between the two, he knew exactly what was going on.

"So, who's first, and how do I make the yellow and blue guys work?" Because there really wasn't a screen to tap here.

Ooooo. Good question. However All Seifer got was a single red Jamie. The tiny one, not the old overweight one.

"SQUAWK!" it shouted as it hopped into the slingshot.
