Wednesday: What was the school board thinking giving Jamie Madrox a teaching position?

Today's class was in the danger room but there doesn't appear to be a reason why. In fact there is only one Jamie Madrox standing in front of the class today looking rather subdued.

"Today's class... is simple," Jamie declared. "Today's assignment? Cut class."

And with that being said, Jamie turned on his heel and walked out of the classroom.

Gosh that seems simple, doesn't it?

Somehow, Warre didn't find that as reassuring as that was possibly supposed to be.

Okay. Okay, this couldn't be so bad... After all, if the Jamies were doing it, right? Maybe?

Warren reached over and gave the slingshot elastic an experimental twang. It was not terribly reassuring, either. Really, he didn't usually get launched when he took off, and he wasn't entirely certain if he'd be able to catch himself mid-air to keep from plunging headlong into heaps of splintering wood and glass shards and stone.

Then again, this was the Danger Shop, right?

"... Why isn't anyone else getting into the slingshot?"

Hmm. No real time to answer that question, Warren!

Because that slingshot was being pulled back and about to launch.

Ever have one of those moments where you realize just a few seconds too late that you probably could have thought all of this out a little more thoroughly?

Yeah.

"Oh, shi-"

And then there were a few white feathers, fluttering to the ground where Warren had been standing a moment before, and one winged mutant, flailing about kind of spastically in an attempt to at least level himself off before-

"Ow."

... Before colliding with the green piggy fortress like that.
