Library [12-8]
Dan didn't know why he braved the stinktastic bog outside the school to come here today. Maybe out of some nerd loyalty. Whatever the reason, he was here and pretending nothing weird was going on because denial was the best medicine. Or something.

Mod the Library
Re: Mod the Library
You can walk right in and find them, Daughter. All you have to do is accept what you are....
Re: Mod the Library

Re: Mod the Library
Almost immediately she realized it was Jono behind her and she sagged back against the table, horrified by her instinctive reaction. She closed her eyes, knowing they'd be glowing red, and said softly, "Jono -- I am sorry, I was startled." Because that explained everything.
Re: Mod the Library

It might make him feel moderately more helpful.
Re: Mod the Library
Coffee near to hand, Dru had her nose buried in a book.
Re: Mod the Library
Because all of that was totally healthy, you know. Totally.
Re: Mod the Library
"For when this is over," John clarified. He knew Sherlock's 'no eating while I'm working' rule well enough, thanks.
Re: Mod the Library
No, not a question.

She was pretty sure she'd be useless today, but at least she was making an effort.

Re: Mod the Library
"William," he drawled, not showing any sign that he actually saw the boy beyond that. There was internet to troll through! Shiny, shiny internet.
Re: Mod the Library
...Well, in normal circumstances William would have found it all 'of interest', but he meant in context to their current situation.

Re: Mod the Library
It wasn't so simple as that, and some rational, sane part of herself knew that, but what you can believe at 3 am isn't always what's sane.
Rinoa was here. Rinoa was hitting the caffeine pretty hard. Rinoa was trying to research, and not throw books around the room in a childish sort of tantrum.
Re: Mod the Library
Besides, he didn't want to leave Rinoa alone unless he had to. He tried to be quietly reassuring, if he could.
Re: Mod the Library
His presence was soothing. She hoped he understood how much.
"Anything?" she asked, not sounding as though she expected a 'yes.' She hadn't found much of anything, yet, either.

And then there had been Sir Didymus, and a reserve meeting, and his datapad had taken a bit of time to kick out anything in the way of useful results on the swamp.
So now he was cross-referencing "sulfur" against mythology, hoping to find something they could use.
