Management Theory [Tuesday, February 10, 4th period]

When the class was assembled before her, Yzma began her customary stalking back and forth. "There are times when you are in a position of leadership that you will have to deal with stupid, ungrateful people who steal cov--" she coughed. "Who steal things. Like ideas. And office supplies. Which is wrong. But you should not kill them immediately!"

She waved her hand and a slew of giant hammers appeared in a corner. "You should learn the importance of healthy and productive stress relief. And then go kill them, when you have your alibi in order."

What a good teacher she was.

"So! Take a hammer and break some statues!" It's probably better not to look too closely at the faces on those statues. They might look familiar.

Chuck couldn't smash it with a hammer very well.

Stupid hurt shoulder.

He'd do his best though because it was fun.

Turtle hit things with a hammer very tentatively and not very well, but no one could accuse her of not trying.

To make up for it, she kicked it in the shins a few times, too.

Something about hitting these statues with the hammer bothered Inara on an subconscious level. That would probably change in a few years, but for now, it meant she started with the legs and pedestal and rather reluctantly worked her way up.

At least this he was capable of both doing and appreciating. It certainly made up for the weekend.

Wielding the hammer with one hand, Arthur may have destroyed quite a few things.

Second week in a row this class had proved cathartic. That was gonna get scary if it happened next week, too.

But for now, Jaina was causing some happy destruction, because sometimes the best stress reliever was just to make things fall apart violently. Shh, don't tell Uncle Luke.

Hinata looked rather tentative and meek, but her strikes were very precise, and more importantly--effective.

And, well, it was fun.

This class was odd, Edmund decided. That revelation didn't stop him from building up a good swing and smashing things to bits. The fact that he had issues with statues at the moment was just a bonus.

Liir stared at the statues.

And looked at the hammer.

And decided to try and stand near one of the more destructive students to make it look as if he'd hit things.

Romeo's first few blows were tentative because he wasn't really angry, but once he got into the rhythm of it he found the smashing strangely soothing.

It did look rather familiar to Helen. Didn't stop her from smashing it up quite nicely.

She wasn't learning anything useful. She wasn't learning anything UN-useful. She wasn't even gaining any insight into the teacher's warped and twisted mind, which would have counted for something.

Still, she was SMASHING THINGS WITH A HAMMER, and Agnes decided to just enjoy the heck -- enjoy the HELL out of it.

She'd never used a hammer in a fight before. They had a nice balance. You get some oomph going, you could do some damage..

This was the thought process going on, in the part of Rikku's brain that wasn't squeeing excitedly and smashing up statues like she was playing whack-a-mole over here.
