Phys Ed: Week 5, Period 2 (Fri. 10/03)

Ronon was not pleased. Especially not with his TA. He stood in a Danger Shop-created gymnasium glaring at all the students as they filed in, daring them to say anything about the previous day.

"Yesterday was nothing. Today is dancing for your life," Ronon paused, expecting disbelief at the necessity of this task. "You'd be surprised. Pick a song, pick a partner, and keep it lively."

What? It was physical and educational.

"Don't forget to dress out."

Helen looked around for a partner. She had never danced in her life, nor even seen much dancing. She hoped she might find a partner who had some clue and fake it by watching them.

Robin had learned a bit of dancing from his days on the Muppet Show. Granted Muppet Dancing might not be normal dancing.

"Hi, do you need a partner?"

Helen blinked at him. "I believe you are rather too small to be an appropriate partner for me," she said.

"Oh." Robin said, a little sensitively. "Good point." Hmmph, Anenome had never had a problem.

Hannibal wondered if dancing like Professor Dex had yesterday would get him extra points...or get him killed more.

Gwen was humming to herself as she looked for a partner. Some people might have found the melody (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5G4O5AMSevc) familiar.

Temari glanced around for a partner, silently hoping Madrox wasn't going to DO anything.

Jamie had "altered" his gym uniform somewhat. It's probably not wise to ask where the legwarmers came from. Or how his shirt hung off his shoulder in a "steel-town-girl-on-a-Saturday-night" kind of way.

He assumed a curled-up/prostrate position on the floor. Much like a tender flower bud waiting to bloom and waited for his oocly arranged partner to join in.

...

She really should keep a closer eye on him. "What are you wearing?"

Jamie tilted his head up from the floor and sighed. Pop culture references were a real pain to pull off in Fandom sometimes.

"This is a dancing outfit from our world... kind of. Just do the song already."

She rubbed her forehead.

"Two favours. You owe me two now."

Firekeeper... actually looked fairly pleased about today's task. Dancing!

Not that she knew any songs. Hopefully she could find a partner who did.

Blind Seer just stretched out on to the floor to watch. And probably laugh.

Turtle, looking none to pleased about dancing, especially in this get-up, wrinkled her nose and glanced around for someone she'd deem suitable.

Well, at least it beat jogging or running.

Dancing? Seriously?

Ichigo was trying his very best to go unnoticed. Stupid bright orange hair. Maybe he should start wearing a hat so he could blend into the background better.

Ino couldn't help the evil grin that appeared on her face when she noticed him trying to hide.

She wandered over to him, and grinned up at him. Hi, would he like to be her partner?

Oh no. No way.

He looked up at the ceiling and ignored Ino right there.

Hey! She was talking to him, well miming really, but still. He should pay attention.

She tried to poke him in the chest. Helloooo? Anybody in there?

"Fox Hair," Firekeeper wandered over to him. "I am needing partner. So you should dance with me."

He seriously sucked at being inconspicuous and for some reason he couldn't ignore Blysse like he could Ino (sort of).

"Um..." There was a pause in which his brain scrabbled. "I'm not all that good at dancing?" he tried lamely.

Sokka was NOT about to be outdone by Jamie. Nuh-uh. No way.

He didn't have a black leather outfit, he didn't have a parking garage, and he didn't have any backup dancers (although they'd be welcome). But he had his attitude. And his moves.

The way he jerked his limbs around made it look like he was going to break something. And there was FAR too much crotch-grabbing for anyone to be comfortable with. But it was AWESOME.

Your butt is mine
Gonna take you right
Just show your face
In broad daylight
I'm telling you
On how I feel
Gonna hurt your mind
Don't shoot to kill
Come on, Come on,
Lay it on me, all right!

Francine would be over here dancing to Rock Around the Clock. With or without a partner. At least with fifties music you were supposed to look goofy when you bopped around.

Dick knew how to breakdance. It wasn't something he used often or anything, but if he had to dance, he might as well go with it.

Yes, it was to Rapper's Delight. Of course.
