Phys Ed: Week 5, Period 2 (Fri. 10/03)

Ronon was not pleased. Especially not with his TA. He stood in a Danger Shop-created gymnasium glaring at all the students as they filed in, daring them to say anything about the previous day.

"Yesterday was nothing. Today is dancing for your life," Ronon paused, expecting disbelief at the necessity of this task. "You'd be surprised. Pick a song, pick a partner, and keep it lively."

What? It was physical and educational.

"Don't forget to dress out."

She tittered silently at him.

Seriously?

Ichigo scowled and moved back to the wall. Fine, she could dance on her own then.
intraspective: (wibble)

It wasn't hard, she gestured, going over the first few steps again. See? Step, step, step. Not hard at all, wouldn't he come try it?

That wasn't fair. Girls shouldn't be allowed to do that. Ichigo sighed, wrinkled his nose and stepped forward, holding out a hand. Fine.
intraspective: (confidence)

She beamed at him, taking his hand deftly.

Now, see, he was the boy but since she knew the steps better she'd lead. Step, step--see? Just like that!

Ichigo found himself following, watching her feet as he copied her steps. He's remember the whole leading thing in a bit. Right now, he was just trying to not look stupid.

He was doing fine, don't worry about it. Step, step, and then this way, was he getting the hang of it?

He was until she went that way and his foot bumped into hers. His fingers tightened unconsciously on hers as he caught himself from tripping and he quickly moved to catch up again.

He was just not going to look up at her and pretend nothing happened.
intraspective: (Grin!)

She smiled a bit, and coolly kept up the steps. She could be nice, sometimes, and embarrassing him now when she could do it later was no fun.

Step, step, step. And he had her hands, and that was a bit adorable.

They were dancing, it was part of the form and had nothing to do with being adorable. Luckily he was too busy concentrating to notice any thoughts of adorableness.

After a moment, when he knew just about where her feet were, he slowly looked up.
intraspective: (grinning impish)

Adorable.

She grinned impishly at him. See? This wasn't so bad.

He wasn't saying anything! There.

And he tugged on her hand just a little, wanting to try that whole leading thing now.
intraspective: (are you REALLY sure)

She rolled her eyes, because wasn't that just like a boy, but let him try it. Alright, see? He could try and lead.

Which meant that he had to move in the different direction. Or maybe not?

He faltered for a moment, coming to a full stop on the floor and he glared at her, daring her to make a remark (or think it) as he straightened his thoughts.
intraspective: (oh come on!)

Oh, come on. That was just sad. Did he want her to lead again?

He was thinking, dammit! And then he remembered and he finally put his foot forward, his hand pressing just a little against hers to make her move back as he followed the steps she'd shown him.

Shut up, sometimes he just needed time to learn something.
intraspective: (temperance)

She grinned, beaming her approval at him. Yes, just like that, see? Now why did he have so much issues with it in the first place? It wasn't hard.

Ino tilted her head quizzically at him.

Because if he got it all wrong, it would be embarrassing. It wasn't like he was being all graceful either. His movements were still awkward like most people's movements were the first few times they tried dancing.

He glanced up from their feet and he couldn't remember if they were dancing this close a few moments ago. He wasn't sure what she was asking either, so he shrugged a shoulder.
intraspective: (nyah!)

She stuck her tongue out at him. Relax, he just had to relax and his steps would smooth out.

Easier said than done and he stuck his tongue out in revenge as he tried to move faster. She'd better watch her toes.
intraspective: (oh come on!)

She was, and that got a bit of a glare. She'd kick him in the balls, seriously, if he kept that up.

He gave her an apologetic look, but maybe there was some blame there too as it would never had happened if she hadn't forced him to this.
