Sam yawned as he headed into the library and started opening the place up. He couldn't stand having his room be cluttered in his newly-moved-in state, so he'd stayed up late finding an organized place for everything. For now, he had coffee, but he was looking forward to the weekend, when he could just relax and sleep in.

Sam was almost disappointed that he didn't have any kittens keeping him company while he made sure all the returned books had been checked in. Almost.

Sam was checking his e-mail and wondering why he was getting so much more spam selling hair products than he had in the past.

Sam was in the stacks, looking through the books on alchemy to see if any of them seemed credible.

The library was open for lunch, and Sam had cookies to share with Dean if he stopped by.

Dean wandered in with a bag of sandwiches. "So have you christened the new room yet?"

Sam glared at Dean. "No, we haven't" he said. "Peter and I only just started dating, Dean."

"So? It's not like you don't know each other really well."

"That doesn't mean we're going to start ripping each other's clothes off the first chance we get," Sam said. "We're going slow. People do that, it's okay."

"Hey if you want blue balls, no skin off my nose," Dean said tossing Sammy a sandwich.

"Can we please not talk about my sex life or lack thereof?" Sam asked, squirming uncomfortably.

"Sure," Dean said. "We could always talk about my sex life..."

"Or we could talk about something else," Sam said quickly. "Can we not talk about sex at all?"

Sam was less nervous this week than he'd been last week, but he still had a nice, thick book in his lap to keep his mind occupied while he waited for Peter to stop by.

Peter came by, as per usual. "Hey."

"Hey," Sam said, immediately perking up a little. "How's it going?"

"Hang on." Peter leaned over the counter to give Sam a hello kiss.

Sam made a soft, pleased noise as he kissed Peter back.

Peter let the kiss linger for a moment, then pulled back. "There. Now it's going pretty good. You?"

"Much better now," Sam said, smiling. "That seems to be what happens when you do that."

"It's one of my powers," Peter said, nodding sagely.
