Study Hall, Monday

Kerrigan wasn't entirely sure how she kept getting roped into these things, but she entered the Study Hall room properly armed with donuts, coffee, painkillers and what appeared to be a day-old pizza.

And guns, of course. Just not particularly visible ones. It was a school environment, after all.

She sat down behind the desk, sagged, and prepared for a long and probably mostly unproductive day.

She's chowing thoughtfully on a slice of pizza. The relative lack of heat of said food item doesn't appear to bother her in the slightest.

She's got an old PDA and is using it to flick through crude star maps.

Anemone wandered in after her class, notebooks tucked under her arm and Gulliver trailing behind her.

Being Anemone, of course, she immediately zeroed in on the donuts. "Morning Lieutenant. Are those for sharing, or just tormenting students with?"

"All yours," Kerrigan commented, pushing the box in her direction.

"I'm not allowed that much sugar," Anemone said regretfully as she carefully selected one donut and balanced it on her books, "No eating the whole box. People claim it makes me scary."

"In my experience it takes more than a sugar rush to cause real terror," she deadpanned, pulling the box back towards her.

She wasn't taking one, though.

"No kidding. Glittering the Captain's seat because I had one too many cupcakes was funny, not scary. If I had done the entire bridge and the hangar bay, that might have been traumatizing for some of the crew, but not scary. Nowhere near scary." She set her books down on one of the tables and broke off a bit of donut to feed Gulliver. "Dinosaurs are scary. Your bugs from class? Kinda scary, because I'd never even seen little bugs before I came to school. Big bugs are totally icky. Glitter? Not so scary."

Third Period

She's staring into the room and seriously considering taking more medication.

Fourth Period

The last slice of pizza is now gone, and she's started ogling the donuts between course estimates.

River entered the room and smiled at Kerrigan. Then she noticed the donuts and started to ogle too.

Kerrigan smiled back at her. "Think I'm fighting a losing battle, here," she said, waving River towards the donuts.

"Have to lose sometime." River grinned and held up her hands, gesturing for Kerrigan to throw a donut to her.

She reached into the box and pulled out a glazed one. Then tossed it at River with an underhand throw. "Better to the donuts, I guess."

Lee found himself in study hall before his first and last class of the day. Might as well get some actual work done before, possibly, having to remove clothing.

Kerrigan shot Lee an amused look from across the room. The naked thing? Never going to get old. "Gearing up for Ares, huh?"

"Good guess," he answered with a nod. "I haven't had to take any clothing off since that week you were in there. Maybe he got bored or something."

"It's Ares," she replied, sitting back, "He's a strategist. He's probably just waiting to catch you unawares."

Inciting paranoia in students was fun.

As Lee entered River looked up, her mouth full of donut and her fingers smeared with donut glazing.

"Good donut?" Lee asked, amused.

She's given in and is eating donuts. And glowering a little in an attempt to repel any harbringers of further headaches.

It wasn't like Ed needed a Study Hall what with his whole room being Study Hall 24/7. But that didn't mean he didn't want to check it out. And maybe hope he might run into Al on the way.

He brought his pile of alchemy books and sat down at one of the tables.

Kerrigan glowered vaguely in Ed's direction. Not so much because she disliked Ed, but because she'd been hoping for a quiet Study Hall today, and every student present made that goal less and less likely.
