Study Hall, Monday

Kerrigan wasn't entirely sure how she kept getting roped into these things, but she entered the Study Hall room properly armed with donuts, coffee, painkillers and what appeared to be a day-old pizza.

And guns, of course. Just not particularly visible ones. It was a school environment, after all.

She sat down behind the desk, sagged, and prepared for a long and probably mostly unproductive day.

She's chowing thoughtfully on a slice of pizza. The relative lack of heat of said food item doesn't appear to bother her in the slightest.

She's got an old PDA and is using it to flick through crude star maps.

She's staring into the room and seriously considering taking more medication.

The last slice of pizza is now gone, and she's started ogling the donuts between course estimates.

She's given in and is eating donuts. And glowering a little in an attempt to repel any harbringers of further headaches.

Availability is spotty but I'm around at many intervals.

Now watch me fall asleep at my desk.

River entered the room and smiled at Kerrigan. Then she noticed the donuts and started to ogle too.

Kerrigan smiled back at her. "Think I'm fighting a losing battle, here," she said, waving River towards the donuts.

Lee found himself in study hall before his first and last class of the day. Might as well get some actual work done before, possibly, having to remove clothing.

Kerrigan shot Lee an amused look from across the room. The naked thing? Never going to get old. "Gearing up for Ares, huh?"

"Have to lose sometime." River grinned and held up her hands, gesturing for Kerrigan to throw a donut to her.

She reached into the box and pulled out a glazed one. Then tossed it at River with an underhand throw. "Better to the donuts, I guess."

"Good guess," he answered with a nod. "I haven't had to take any clothing off since that week you were in there. Maybe he got bored or something."

"It's Ares," she replied, sitting back, "He's a strategist. He's probably just waiting to catch you unawares."

Inciting paranoia in students was fun.

"Telling me that he's trying to catch me naked doesn't make me feel better," Lee answered, frowning.

"No," Kerrigan said, smirking, "But now you're on your toes."

River caught the donut easily. "Thought so too," she said.

As Lee entered River looked up, her mouth full of donut and her fingers smeared with donut glazing.

"Right," Lee said, a little bit disbelieving. "Did you lose your memories this weekend?"

"Good donut?" Lee asked, amused.

"No," she said, rubbing her brow again in sympathy. For her own pain, that is. "Did you?"

Kerrigan picked up a donut for herself and stared at it. Then through the hole. "So how was your weekend? Are you okay?"

River nodded thougtfully. "It won. I surrendered."

River thought for a moment. "Okay. Had to go looking for myself. Not sure what I found. You?"

"No, I missed out on that fun," he said and shrugged. "All my memories are safe and sound in my head. Did you want to lose your memories or something?"
