Study Hall, Monday

Kerrigan wasn't entirely sure how she kept getting roped into these things, but she entered the Study Hall room properly armed with donuts, coffee, painkillers and what appeared to be a day-old pizza.

And guns, of course. Just not particularly visible ones. It was a school environment, after all.

She sat down behind the desk, sagged, and prepared for a long and probably mostly unproductive day.

No one never says what they mean, Kerrigan said, rubbing her forehead, Too many damn contradictions. Have to stay light or I go crazy.

And, hell, Kerrigan felt that was enough of a reason to pick the donut up off her desk again. And take a bite. Yeah.

Donuts cheer me up but upsets my stomach in large quantities. That didn't stop her from taking a large bite.
