Study Hall, Monday

Kerrigan wasn't entirely sure how she kept getting roped into these things, but she entered the Study Hall room properly armed with donuts, coffee, painkillers and what appeared to be a day-old pizza.

And guns, of course. Just not particularly visible ones. It was a school environment, after all.

She sat down behind the desk, sagged, and prepared for a long and probably mostly unproductive day.

"Not a fan of polka dots?" Lee asked, just intent on pressing his luck. "I bet they'd look good on you."

Kerrigan's eyes snapped up to meet his with a steely kind of menace. "I could kick your ass, Adama," she growled, "Don't give me an excuse. Now get back to work before I slap you with another five rounds of detention."

He made one more face and dropped his head back to his work, surely not thinking that she and his father would get along nicely and how she even resembled...

He cut that thought off.
