No-Nonsense Sexual Education - Monday, Period 1 - Class 1

Lulu swept into the classroom, her long skirt, a collection of intertwined belts, rustling against itself as she stepped. Her presence was unmistakeable, as were her... obvious endowments, which likely drew the attention of every male in the room -- or anyone interested in women, at least -- and even the others would likely notice the fact that she must use either tape or magic to hold up her dress, and more likely magic as tape seemed insufficient.

"Good afternoon," came her voice, smooth and confident. "My name is Lulu, and in this class we will be discussing many of the changes and new experiences you will discover, or have already discovered, as part of your adolescence.

"I do wish to maintain," she continued, "a safe and productive environment for all of my students; with this in mind, I'd like to set some expectations for within this classroom. If you all please sign these forms, and look over the requirements for the course? You will find those attached."

Lulu sat on the edge of her desk, leaing forward; her bosom threatened to overflow her dress. "We are going to be speaking of sex," she said, low and bluntly. "This is a topic with which many people are uncomfortable. Certainly in my own world, we are only now, after some drastic political changes, learning to discuss these topics with any openness, and I understand, having done some research upon arriving here, that many of your worlds are in similar, if not stricter, situations, while others are much more open about this topic.

"My expectations for you are, first, that you approach our discussions with an open mind, as you may find certain of your beliefs challenged as we discuss the myths and stereotypes that surround sex and sexual acts; second, that you listen to your classmates without judgment, as you may find that they enjoy different acts and different aspects thereof than do you, and this does not make them necessarily immoral or wrong, merely different -- if you'll pardon the repetition. Third," Lulu continued, stepping back down to the floor and standing tall, "I do wish to impress upon you that no question is too outrageous; there are many things believed about sex that have no basis in the truth, and the only way to discover that truth is to speak of what we already believe we know. I hope to challenge your assumptions, and in doing so educate you to the best of my ability."

She turned to the blackboard and began writing upon it as she spoke. "For today," Lulu said, "I thought it might be best if we limited ourselves to introductions. If you would, I'd like you give the class your name, what education you've had, and also, if you feel comfortable discussing it, what experience. Also, I'd like to introduce you to my TA, Rikku; she will be more than willing to discuss anything with you if you feel uncomfortable coming to me."

Turtle was taking careful notes on the introduction. Careful meaning a few marginal footnotes that included "Consider buying Miss Lulu a nice, covering sweater" and "Test the limits of this statement" in response to "No question is too outrageous."

She had confidence in that last one. She did, after all, date Jeff.

Haku was very impressed so far with the class and it was only the first day! He looked over the forms and signed his name gladly. This class already seemed to be leaps and bounds above the one he had taken over the summer.

Anemone quickly signed her name to the forms, and then spent the rest of the class alternating between paying rapt attention and composing a letter in her notebook.

Anne's face had gone even paler than usual within a minute of Lulu's entrance, but as soon as she realized what the class was about, she was the closest she had ever come to quite literally hiding under her desk.

How had she ended up in this class? Was this really a decent school subject?

Sokka squirmed uncomfortably. He wanted to be here, this was an awesome class -- it just was, you know. Just. You know.

Also, he was doing his best to listen and not stare at the teacher's chest. He was, really.

At one point during the lecture, he covered his face with his hands and stared at her through his fingers, just to try to get it out of his system.

Neville was deeply focused on signing his name on the form and not looking at the professor. Definitely not looking at the professor. His ears were turning bright red from the thought.

Gavin thought she was already better than GOB. There was no talk of bases and homeruns and things that Gavin had no kriffing idea about.

So, he actually took some notes this class. And tried not to stare...too much.

Ron's ears had turned a bright red when he suddenly noticed EXACTLY what this class was about.

He then firmly convinced himself that this was some kind of prank someone at Hogwarts was trying to pull on him.

Turtle straightened a little and lifted her chin to appear confident in sharp contrast to the pink blossoming on her cheeks. It was okay, though. This was no nonsense. Serious business. Just like radio.

"My name is Turtle Wexler, and I have no previous education in this particular field, except for what Miss Aly told me about dildos. As far as experience in this field, I have kissed a total of two people, and am currently kissing one."

She took a small bow. "Thank you."

Haku spoke confidently with no sign of any embaressment regarding the subject matter. "My name is Haku, I was in GOB's class in the second summer term, but I don't believe that it should count towards any sexual education. As for experience I have had virtually none, though my first kiss was stolen from me sometime during last term." He seemed rather annoyed about it too.

Rikku stood up, blushing. "Uh, hi. My name's Rikku, and I'm a friend of Lulu's from before. If that's okay to say and all. She, uh, helped with ... that whole save-the-world thing we did."

"My, uh, education was ... I didn't really have one. In my group I think you're kinda supposed to learn from your family, but my dad just decided if I didn't know anything I wouldn't do anything. 'Cause that's gonna happen. So I didn't know anything, until, uh, Lulu here ... wrote to ask me if I needed, uh, to know things. And I said that it'd be ... nice, 'cause ... I didn't? So she wrote me a letter and ... it was a really long kinda letter and ... yeah. I think that's why you're here, too, isn't it?" she asked. "Because, uh, they d-didn't really ... have a class here that ... I mean, the class before was kinda ... not good with this. Or whatever."

If she was blushing badly before, it was only getting worse. "And m-my experience is ... not much. I, uh. S-some? More than, uh, b-before, but not - not as much as s-s-some people, and, uh. I mean. I, uh." She sat back down. "Never mind."

This was likely to be a less than pleasant circumstance . . .
