Isabel sat at the counter, sipping her coffee and eating her muffin. idling flipping through a magazine.

Thursday arrived with a platter of food for aides and helpers to nibble on for the day. She then disappeared into Special Collections with a dictionary of pulp detective fiction and a garden hoe.

Thursday poked her head back around the bookcase. "If you see vines growing out into the rest of the library, there's herbicide under the counter. Failing that, give it the best cliched whodunnit end monologue you can think of." Then she disappeared again, unlikely to return for the rest of the day.

The library is slowly getting more organized. Today Isabel was working through the section dealing with the history of clowns.

In theory, Isabel is supposed to be shelving books. Right now she's more interested in the history of Bobo the Clown she paging through.

Lunch - 6/5

The library is closed for lunch unless you're the librarian or an aide.

Bobo's story has been finished, she's back to shelving books.

Isabel had been listening for the door so there really wasn't much of a chance for sneaking to happen. She put down the book she'd been shelving and headed out to the circulation desk, smiling when she recognized who it was. "Looking for something?"

"Me? Nah," Peter said. While getting on tiptoe and peering over the library counter. Because he thought he was cute like that.

There might have been some admiring of the view. But not ogling. Because that would be tacky. "If you're looking to steal my lunch, you're too late. I already ate it."

"I'm okay," Isbael smiled. "Sorry about the last minute change in plans, but you know how it goes. And pray tell, why do you need a library card application?"

"There's a scavenger hunt thing for class," she said, waving her hands in a negligable fashion, "and don't worry about the change in plans. Did anyone get hurt?"

"Oh...." she said, Peter's visit suddenly making sense. "No, other then some bumps and bruises, no one got hurt by the bad guys. And we got Peter back, safe and sound. That's the important thing."

"No, Peter and Dawn stopped by earlier. Dawn told me what was up," she explained. "So I figured I'd just leave the stack out. Make it easier on all of us."
