"Hi!" Dawn waved, "You okay after this weekend? And can I have a library card application, please?"

"I'm okay," Isbael smiled. "Sorry about the last minute change in plans, but you know how it goes. And pray tell, why do you need a library card application?"

"There's a scavenger hunt thing for class," she said, waving her hands in a negligable fashion, "and don't worry about the change in plans. Did anyone get hurt?"

"Oh...." she said, Peter's visit suddenly making sense. "No, other then some bumps and bruises, no one got hurt by the bad guys. And we got Peter back, safe and sound. That's the important thing."

"Uh huh," Dawn nodded, "And did you getting worried face from the other Peter?"

"Well when I told him, Zero and I were already in the car on our way to the interstate," Isabel explained. "So it was more like worried voice. But he did stop by to check on me last night. And he was by here earlier for a library card application." She smiled just a bit at the memory.

"And?" Dawn leaned on the counter, more than happy to get some good gossip.

"And ~~it's still being played out~~ what?" she teased. "I gave it to him."

"Ooooooooh," Dawn teased melodramatically.

"Stop that," Isabel said, rolling her eyes. "I'll make you ride in the trunk for the trip to New York if you keep that up."

"Sam won't let me ride in the trunk," Dawn considered, "Probably. Besides, I wouldn't say anything in front of Peter."

"No, he'll probably want you on his lap on the whole way," she laughed. "Thank you. No reason to make the poor guy flail."

"Yeeaaah, he doesn't get everything he wants either," she rolled her eyes.

"Oh? He's spoiled?" Isabel teased.

"It's..." she flailed, "the stupid puppy dog eyes. I don't have any resistance!"

"Yeah, I can see where they're a problem," she agreed. "They look so cute with their hair all floppy and the sad eyes...You want to give them whatever they ask for."

"You feel my pain," Dawn nodded. "They should be illegal."

"See I can't say that. Because I've been known to occasionally employ them for my own benefit," Isabel admitted. "Mostly just to drive Cedric nuts. But still."

"How's he doing, anyway?" She asked, in no big rush to finish her assignment.

She wobbled her hand in the air. "He seems to be okay. But I know he still misses Jack a lot. His birthday is next week, so I think I'll cook him dinner and make him a cake."

"You're a good friend," Dawn told her. "That's got to be rough. I don't know what I'd do if Sam left me behind."

"He's been a wonderful friend to me," Isabel said. "It's the least I can do. I suppose it's a way of saying thank you for all the times he distracted me after I came back. He let me turn his hair pink one day."

"...pink?"

"Pink," she nodded. "Just for a few minutes. But I have pictures."

"Does he know?" She asked.
