Revolutions: Week 4 Period 5

Anyone coming into class today will find that someone had gotten there early. That particular someone also barricaded off the majority of the classroom with a pile of desk and chairs.

That particular someone was also standing on top of the barricade with his trenchcoat billowing dramatically. (Actually it was just two dupes standing behind Jamie flapping the end of his trenchcoat)

"Makers of mischief and revolution!" Jamie called out to his fellow students. "Last weeks class was a sham! The monarchy was not the true power in this classroom!"

(Several dramatic gasps were heard. Again from the dupes)

"I know! I know!" Jamie said waving his hands. "I was shocked too! The real dictator? The one taking our rights away? The one who assigns us homework?"

Jamie put a mock serious look and pointed dramatically at another certain someone. "She's right there. Alianne of Pirate's Swoop and the Copper Isles! Join me my brothers! Help me overthrow her from her position and demand the rights and privleges that we so deserve!"

Kawalsky headed for the barricade and looked up at Jamie. "Lemme in."

"Skipper! Join us!" Jamie said waving his arm in greeting.

"This is more like it," Alec said with a grin, moving towards the barricade.

Jamie grinned back. "Let us overthrow the bonds of a traditional classroom! Let us be shirtless!"

Marie sighed, but joined the revolutionaries.

"If I get detention because of this, I'm going to be very upset with you," she warned Jamie.

"If your heart isn't in it, stay on the safe side, but no pie for you!" Kawalsky called and toppled backwards over the barricade to look for the promised pie.

"Hey, we're just applying what she's taught us," Jamie said with a grin. "She can't get mad for that."

Zuko headed for the barricade, but he didn't look much like he was planning to join in. "Get off that thing before I set it on fire," he growled at Jamie.

"Hey now!" Jamie replied. "We're just doing a peaceful protest here. Is this how the man deals with the citizens right to speak out?"

"Zuko, we're just having fun," Marie said, attempting to diffuse any bad situations before they got out of hand.

Anders headed for the barricade, but sat down quietly in the corner to sip at his large bottle of ginger ale.

Because every barricade revolution has to have a token drunk guy, and that's all he felt up to doing today.

Steerpike spends quite awhile standing around, glancing from Jamie to Aly and back again.

There were a great many factors to consider in this decision.

"What, precisely, do you hope to accomplish with this?"

But beyond the barricade is the land he really wants to see. That, and with Balthier's recently developed loathing of pie he decides to stay nuetral.

Ah, yes. This was definitely more to Sam's style after nine years of accidentally inciting revolutions. "Do we have a list of demands?" She grabbed a slice of pie and a cup of coffee, then perched herself in a guarding position on the top of the barracade. "Oooh, good pie."
