Revolutions: Week 4 Period 5

Anyone coming into class today will find that someone had gotten there early. That particular someone also barricaded off the majority of the classroom with a pile of desk and chairs.

That particular someone was also standing on top of the barricade with his trenchcoat billowing dramatically. (Actually it was just two dupes standing behind Jamie flapping the end of his trenchcoat)

"Makers of mischief and revolution!" Jamie called out to his fellow students. "Last weeks class was a sham! The monarchy was not the true power in this classroom!"

(Several dramatic gasps were heard. Again from the dupes)

"I know! I know!" Jamie said waving his hands. "I was shocked too! The real dictator? The one taking our rights away? The one who assigns us homework?"

Jamie put a mock serious look and pointed dramatically at another certain someone. "She's right there. Alianne of Pirate's Swoop and the Copper Isles! Join me my brothers! Help me overthrow her from her position and demand the rights and privleges that we so deserve!"

Anders looks a little bit more guilty at that. "Sorry you're kinda stuck with me now."

"Nuh uh," Bridge says, and bumps Anders' shoulder with his own. "It's *you* who's stuck with *me*."

"You could be doing other things," Anders replies, punctuated by a large and undignified gulp of ginger ale.

"Right," Bridge rolls his eyes. "Like panicking 'cause I'm not with you so I don't know where you're are or if you're in trouble or what."

"But I wouldn't be in trouble if --" Anders takes a deep breath. "Okay. Train of thought that only leads off a cliff. D'you know you're the best best friend ever?"

"And here's where I point out where the only cliffs *I* remember were the ones you showed up at when you were leading a pack of people to rescue Z and me when Gruumm had us," Bridge says.

Anders's jaw kind of drops and he stares at Bridge, and he's terrified for a few moments that he might cry again. "I'd do it again, you know -- and I'll stop protesting now."
