Student Council [lunch]

Josh had his feet propped up on his desk when the members of the student council began arriving.

"I know you have more important things to worry about right now than this meeting," he began. "Did I clean my room enough? Have my parents brought embarrassing photographs of me that they will share with absolutely everyone? Will my teachers say nice things about me?" Josh grinned. "On that last one, let me put it out there that I am extremely bribable."

He waved his hand towards the pizza in the back. "Let's make this a quick meeting so you can get back to your guests or hiding in your rooms."

Alanna didn't twitch really. "I'm good for any day, but we should probably aim for a friday. And we're going to need food, entertainment, and what else?"

"Did we like the idea of doing Fandom High-themed pictionary on one of the game nights?" Tyler asked, munching pizza.

"Definitely," Peter, who had looked up what pictionary was during the past week, agreed. "Maybe we should meet to put together what the cards should say in the next week? And then go from there?"

Marie raised her hand and waited her turn.

"It's not too far until Thanksgiving and Christmas," she said. "And there are a lot of students who may not be able to go home and be with their families for the holidays." She didn't mention that some, like her, didn't want to go home. "Maybe we should consider organizing some holiday celebrations for them?"

After talking to Peter, Isabel turned to Josh. "Professor Lyman? Do you think we could get some StuCo Funding to through a small party in one of the common room Sunday night? Just to celebrate surviving the weekend?"
