Student Council [lunch]

Josh had his feet propped up on his desk when the members of the student council began arriving.

"I know you have more important things to worry about right now than this meeting," he began. "Did I clean my room enough? Have my parents brought embarrassing photographs of me that they will share with absolutely everyone? Will my teachers say nice things about me?" Josh grinned. "On that last one, let me put it out there that I am extremely bribable."

He waved his hand towards the pizza in the back. "Let's make this a quick meeting so you can get back to your guests or hiding in your rooms."

JD takes a moment to swallow his pizza. It's a miracle he doesn't choke.

"Just like that. We could hold it at the park and use the pond as a landing site!"

JD is careful to resist his delusions of granduer, which include an best machine ever and a hairmet so he looks good winning, lest he lose his train of thought.

"I bet some of the science classes would offer extra credit for it too."

"I'm sure you're right," Josh said, grinning. "I'll ask them if you'd like. We should probably do this soon so that the pond doesn't freeze over, huh?"

JD drifts off for a moment, picturing contestant after contestant splattering like goo on the ice.

"Oh, right! Yeah. Ice, bad idea. Very gooey."

Josh tilted his head. Weird kid. "I'll talk with the admins to see when a good weekend might be Zoe about this," he said. "Great idea."

JD does his victory dance, which looks like the Snoopy dance if Snoopy had two left feet and epilepsy.

"Oh yeah, good idea. Oh yeah, good idea."
