Detention [8/5]

When the students entered the dangershop, they found it to have been set up like a stereotypical novelty breakfast restaurant, right down to the dirndls worn by the harried yet unflappable waitress. The students were free to order any item they wanted from the menu . . . so long as they paid for it. Toaster waffles were on offer for free, though.

Daisy sat at a long table to one side of the restaurant, reading the obituaries section of today's Washington Post and sipping some coffee. She had a brown leather journal on the table in front of her, and the specials board behind her had a list of the students' names:

Alec
Veruca Cally
Walter Dornez
Tyler Durden
Dean Winchester
Sam Winchester

Daisy waited for everyone to arrive and get their breakfast on before setting down the paper.

[ooc: wait for the OCD. I will have to be afk in the afternoon/evening to attend a gathering for a friend of mine who has passed away, but I will be online from late Friday night through Saturday morning (I hope) to grab up the pings.

PLEASE NOTE: the following is entirely optional. Should your character get caught, I can have them get harrassed by a graveling. Also, should your character not find their target in time, the target will die in a suitably canonish wacky fashion. These are ENTIRELY OPTIONAL. Please let me know if you'd like this to happen in the OOC thread.

All threads are open as soon as OCD is up, since my time for RP is limited. Expect to be out IG by about 4 pm.

And thanks to walter_n_wires and futurebucs_star for offering to help with playing NPCs

Alec picked at a toaster waffle, not terribly happy about how the day was turning out so far but there wasn't much he could do about it, either.

Tag: assignments

Once everyone seemed to be about done eating, Daisy opened the journal and pulled out some post- its. Each one had a first initial, a last name, an ETDA, and a location.

"Right, these are your assignments. Each of you is to devise a plan to figure out who this individual is and ‘tag' them by sticking a purple post-it on their person. You must do this without them ever being aware that you're there. It's not as easy as it works. You may want to assume some sort of false identity, claim to be an old friend they don't remember, a lawyer looking to give them an inheritance, whatever. Just get the job done. You can work together, but you have to be the person who ‘tags' the person on your post-it. If anyone catches on to your game of ‘tag', then you're ‘out' and get to sit in the corner facing the wall and be plagued by gravelings. You have to tag the person by the time indicated on your post-it, before something else tags them, first."

Alec looked at his post-it, then around the office. He suppressed a shudder at the thought of ever having to work in a place like this and walked up to the first person he saw, putting on a polite smile.

The shop changed again, this time to a busy city street with a hotdog cart on the corner. Cally had twenty minutes to find C. Dale and ‘tag' them without them realizing.

There is a rather round woman with horn-rimmed glassed and... interesting makeup at the hotdog cart. It appears that she is attempting to drown her hotdog in toppings.

It changed again, this time to the grounds of a military academy, where students were running an obstacle course. Dean had twenty minutes to find J. Monteleone and tag them without them realizing.

Sam looked around, sighed and straightened. Dean was better at this whole false identity lying to people thing but Sam could do it when he had to.

Making sure he was moving with the proper military bearing, Sam walked up to the officer supervising. "Excuse me, sir."

Z had decided to treat this as some bizarre training project for the Rangers. She could do it.

She bit her lip, looking around for a nurse or doctor or, basically, anybody with a nametag.
