When the students entered the dangershop, they found it to have been set up like a stereotypical novelty breakfast restaurant, right down to the dirndls worn by the harried yet unflappable waitress. The students were free to order any item they wanted from the menu . . . so long as they paid for it. Toaster waffles were on offer for free, though.

Daisy sat at a long table to one side of the restaurant, reading the obituaries section of today's Washington Post and sipping some coffee. She had a brown leather journal on the table in front of her, and the specials board behind her had a list of the students' names:

Dean Winchester
Sam Winchester

Daisy waited for everyone to arrive and get their breakfast on before setting down the paper.

[ooc: ~~wait for the OCD~~. I will have to be afk in the afternoon/evening to attend a gathering for a friend of mine who has passed away, but I will be online from late Friday night through Saturday morning (I hope) to grab up the pings.

PLEASE NOTE: the following is entirely optional. Should your character get caught, I can have them get harrassed by a graveling. Also, should your character not find their target in time, the target will die in a suitably canonish wacky fashion. These are ENTIRELY OPTIONAL. Sam made a mental note never to leer as it was not a good expression on him. "You better not be implying what I think you're implying," he said darkly.

"Geez Sammy, calm down. Don't worry, we didn't do anything. All of your innocent virtues are still in tact, I promise." Dean laughed.

"Well good. Keep it that way. I don't want things to be awkward between me and Dawn when we switch back."

"Right, 'cause that would put a real damper on you being able to crush on her behind her back."

"I am NOT-" Sam began, realised his voice was getting kinda loud and stopped. He leaned in close and dropped his voice to barely above a whisper, but no less vehement for that. "I am not crushing on Dawn behind her back. I already told you that."

"Yeah, I know what you told me," Dean said quietly, trying to keep Sam remotely calm. "But come on, do you really think you can hide something like that from me? You know I'm not pissed about it, right?"

He did know, mostly because Dean never got seriously pissed at him, not about the important things. Oh, he got mad, but that just led to yelling at each other and always seemed to blow over almost immediately. But still...

"That's not the point," he said, more sullenly than he probably should've. "Whether I do or don't have a crush -- and I'm not saying I do -- that's private. Some things I don't want to share."

Dean frowned, looking slightly wounded. "Look, I know you have things that you want to keep to yourself. I get that. But if there's one person in the world you shouldn't keep things from, it's me. I mean, I'm not saying you shouldn't be honest with Dad too. But you can tell me anything, Sammy, seriously."

"I know," Sam said earnestly. "I do, Dean, really. It's just," he sighed, "some things I'm not ready to talk about yet. I have to... get them straight in my own head first." He leaned his elbows on the table and met Dean's gaze squarely. "When I do, you're always the one I want to talk to."

"I'm going to hold you to that, y'know," Dean said, smirking. "As soon as you get things straightened out, I want to know. Of course, I'm still not going to believe you if you tell me you don't like Dawn."

Giving in just a little, Sam said, "What's not to like?"

Dean gave Sam a sly grin. "See, that's what I'm talking about. I know you have those kinds of thoughts in you."

Sam felt his face heat. "I don't..."

It was so weird to see that kind of a look on his own face, especially when blushing was such a trademarked Sam reaction. "After everything we talked about yesterday, you can't deny that you do. And that's fine. Otherwise I might have to start thinking we're not really related."

"We're related," Sam said. "You just got all the pervy genes."

"You make that sound like a bad thing. I mean, it is, but for you, not for me."
