Detention [8/5]
When the students entered the dangershop, they found it to have been set up like a stereotypical novelty breakfast restaurant, right down to the dirndls worn by the harried yet unflappable waitress. The students were free to order any item they wanted from the menu . . . so long as they paid for it. Toaster waffles were on offer for free, though.
Daisy sat at a long table to one side of the restaurant, reading the obituaries section of today's Washington Post and sipping some coffee. She had a brown leather journal on the table in front of her, and the specials board behind her had a list of the students' names:
Alec
Veruca Cally
Walter Dornez
Tyler Durden
Dean Winchester
Sam Winchester
Daisy waited for everyone to arrive and get their breakfast on before setting down the paper.
[ooc:wait for the OCD. I will have to be afk in the afternoon/evening to attend a gathering for a friend of mine who has passed away, but I will be online from late Friday night through Saturday morning (I hope) to grab up the pings.
PLEASE NOTE: the following is entirely optional. Should your character get caught, I can have them get harrassed by a graveling. Also, should your character not find their target in time, the target will die in a suitably canonish wacky fashion. These are ENTIRELY OPTIONAL. Please let me know if you'd like this to happen in the OOC thread.
All threads are openas soon as OCD is up, since my time for RP is limited. Expect to be out IG by about 4 pm.
And thanks to
walter_n_wires and
futurebucs_star for offering to help with playing NPCs
ETA (3:45 pm EST): And off I go.
walter_n_wires and
futurebucs_star: feel free to mod those npcs you feel comfortable with. I'll pick up any hanging pings and threads when I return. I apologize for the inconvenience of having to go AFK, but it could not be avoided.]

Re: Tyler Durden - N. Rommey
She bit her lip, looking around for a nurse or doctor or, basically, anybody with a nametag.
Re: Tyler Durden - N. Rommey
"Excuse me," she asked the ficus. "Do you know the way to Santa Fe?"
Re: Tyler Durden - N. Rommey
If Tyler had known who he was, he would have taken a moment to reflect on the irony of the situation. But he didn't.
Instead, "Z" aimed what she hoped was a dazzling smile at ficus lady. "Excuse me, do you know where I can fnd the Romney room? I'm a grandd- grandson. I'm their grandson."
Re: Tyler Durden - N. Rommey
Fortunately, another woman, this one in scrubs, was nearby and hurried over. "Nina, it's nearly time for your medicine." The nurse looked Z up and down. "Can I help you find something, son?"
Re: Tyler Durden - N. Rommey
Re: Tyler Durden - N. Rommey
"No you're not. Nina only has her daughter left, and her daughter has never, ever mentioned a son."
Re: Tyler Durden - N. Rommey
She was also trying to snake a hand around to stick the post-it to Ficus Lady's back.
Re: Tyler Durden - N. Rommey
The nurse put an arm around Nina's shoulders to turn her back away from the ficus. "Could I see some ID, please?"
There were fifteen minutes left.
Re: Tyler Durden - N. Rommey
"Um, I just -- I mean --" she pouted. "I should go. And I plan to write a very nasty letter." As the nurse moved to turn Nina around, Z moved quickly to place the post-it just below the nurse's arm. Then she went to leave.
"Bye, Nana Nina."
Re: Tyler Durden - N. Rommey
The nurse paused as well, looking between Nina and Z with interest and suspicion.
Re: Tyler Durden - N. Rommey
Then she had a brilliant idea. "Can I have a hug before I go?"
Re: Tyler Durden - N. Rommey
The nurse hesitated, and then nodded, stepping away from Nina. "I'm watching you, though, no funny business,"
Re: Tyler Durden - N. Rommey
"Bye," she said again, and walked away very very quickly.
Re: Tyler Durden - N. Rommey
And the simulation abruptly ended.
