Detention - 06/10

The Danger Shop, when students enter, looks like a somewhat rough part of an older part of a town. There were a few old cars around, one of which was noticably red - noticably mainly due to the fact that everything was in black and white - including the kids themselves and if the Danger Shop can't do that, then *handwave* now it can - save for a few splashes of color.

Becky was leaning against a wall, a piece of chalk in her hand. Miho was, naturally, nowhere to be found. And she wouldn't be, until she felt the need to be seen. On the wall, in suprisingly neat writing, read:

Alec
Joxer
Walter Dornez
Tyler Durden
Gwynn Hood
Pippi Longstocking
Jamie Madrox
Conner McKnight
Cameron Mitchell
M. Parker
Peter Parker
Peter Pevensie
Nadia Santos
Dawn Summers
Dean Winchester
Sam Winchester

She crossed names off as students filed in.

[OOC: Naturally, OCD is coming up, yay! Also, getting this up now as I? Have not made with the sleepination yet, and neither has Miho's player. Will be responding from about noon EST onwards.

ETA: see availability in Rory's journal back, and my cat is fine. :) Thank you everyone for thinking of me.]

Jamie face-palmed. This was going to end in tears. He knew it.

Online for a bit now. Will be AFK for most of the day. Expect SP until after 10:00 pm ESTM.

Pippi offers to help Jamie but is sidetracked by Tyler (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomhigh/897976.html?thread=44634808#t44634808).

Conner also stuck on SP for a bit facepalmed too. Because handcuffs and this short skirt? No. Just no.

"So, uh," he said in the high-pitched and badly accented voice, "who's puttin' on the cuffs?"

Parker actually knew a trick to get out of these *without* the accessories, but dislocated thumbs are no fun. And for all she knew, Miho and Becky might call that cheating.

[identity profile] cameronmitchell.livejournal.com 2006-06-10 05:37 pm (UTC)(link)
Cameron would be worried about his freedom depending on Parker's skills if he wasn't too busy boggling at the tools she was supposed to free him with. "Why do I feel like I'm storing in an cheap R-rated horror film?"

"Because this is the point at which the guy with a knife usually jumps out from the shadows and kills the extras," Parker said, glaring at the accesories. "Damnit. Knew I should've asked Carter or Marty for lockpicking tips." She grabbed an earring, and started working on picking the lock on Cam's cuffs. "Dear God, let the Danger Shop not get pictures of this. Thanks and amen, Parker."

Pippi looks around for a partner. She's confident she'd be able to bust out of these things pretty easy.

Sadly, she's not taking into account the fact that the danger shop may compensate for strength.

Gwynn came up to Pippi dressed in the pirate outfit.

"Hey Pippi!"

Pippi was currently tormenting standing by Jamie (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomhigh/897976.html?thread=44567224#t44567224).

"Bonjour Gwynn!" she waved her feather duster.

Tyler's eyes lasered in on Pippi. "Have you picked anybody yet?"

"Mais non." she says, "I was going to ask Jamie but I think he has a headache so maybe he wants to be alone oui?"

Nadia looked at Walter.

She'd told him next time he could lock her up. . . . but that would be out of character. So she kept quiet for the moment.

Walter picked up the cuffs and brought them over to Nadia.

Like a good servant. Yes.

Nadia was thinking very quickly. She sat down on one of the chaise lounges, looking sternly at Walter. "I said you would lock me up next time, and I meant it," she said cooly. "Do it."

Dawn was also waiting for a partner, bending down carefully to pick up the handcuffs so she didn't fall out of her corset. At least the combat boots were comfortable.

"So would you mind being handcuffed by a giant muskrate in a fedora?" Dean asked, waggling his eyebrows at her.

"This will be a fun e-mail to Zero," Peter said. "'What did you do this weekend?' 'Well, I started it by dressing like a ninja and getting handcuffed.' Gah."

He wondered if he could get away with just snapping the cuffs with superstrength. Probably not, though.

"Hey," Joxer said, waving to the guy who was also in a lot of white. Though who knows what opinion one would get of Joxer meeting him for the first time while wearing a wedding dress.

"You need a partner?"

"Any ideas on lock-picking?" Peter asked using the godawful cowboy accent.

Gwynn the pirate was in need of a partner.

Of course, she had no clue what a pirate was and decided it might be just another type of bandit like her father and his men...maybe.

Sam decided that telling his dad that his lockpicking skills had come in handy might be nice. Telling him why they came in handy? Not so much.

Alec eyed Sammy, managing to look fairly neutral given that his own costume was as bad as he figured it got. "So what are you, exactly?"
