Why did the entire island smell a bit like chocolate pudding? It was probably nothing, right?

"Welcome to our final team-building exercise today!" Anakin yelled through his megaphone. "It's based on a series of obstacle courses called a Tough Mudder, but mud is too easy!"

...that would explain the pudding smell.

"Working in teams of seven, you will race around the island, conquering each obstacle! McGarrett, stop looking so excited about this. Listen for your names! NO POWERS."

Piggybacks are fun! Piggybacks up and down stairs on your way to the Preserve are decidedly less fun. Pair up and race as fast as you can! Team member #2, you're pulling double-duty this time.

Even with only... ONLY 6 inches height on her, it was more the ummm... size the other direction that had lead to Dwight's assumed arrangement for this leg of the tasks.

Had Rosa thought, for a brief moment, that she couldn't trust McGarrett to move fast enough and that she should be the one to carry him? Yes. Absolutely she had, but that call to action was all she needed to know that no forceful carrying to SEALs to victory was required.

She was practically on his back before he'd even finished shouting her name.

He hauled bodies around more than most people expected, but he was no super soldier.

His first partner for this one appreciated it as well, and Amaya had no modesty about her own strength here, so you'd better believe she was going to be far more comfortable offering her own back over getting onto Will's.

Libby was still sort of feeling like she would have been better off just sinking in the pond by now, but hopefully the other obstacles would involve less awkward moments with her sort-of boss.

"At least I should be easy to carry?" she offered hopefully, feeling a little bad for all the different ways she wished today had played out other than this.

She snickered. Look, even if she was the only one who got the reference, the point was that she had to amuse herself somehow because this was about to be excruciating.

And his second one had more than enough enthusiasm to make up for anything else! Especially after surviving the first obstacle, and he flashed Jon an eager grin.

"You had my back for the last one," he pointed out, "and you can have my back on this one, too! I think I can do it!"

Since they were pretty matched on noodly-ness, maybe that gung-ho attitude was the thing that put Graham in a better carrying position in this one.

"Think I'm the one doing the carrying here," Miguel said.

He wasn't sure how strong Gray was, but he was more than strong enough to lift the entire team, let alone one person. And a lot less likely to fall asleep in the middle of it.

"Yeah, probably a good idea," Gray agreed. He could totally carry Miguel, but the risk of him falling asleep halfway down a staircase was...fairly high.
