Why did the entire island smell a bit like chocolate pudding? It was probably nothing, right?

"Welcome to our final team-building exercise today!" Anakin yelled through his megaphone. "It's based on a series of obstacle courses called a Tough Mudder, but mud is too easy!"

...that would explain the pudding smell.

"Working in teams of seven, you will race around the island, conquering each obstacle! McGarrett, stop looking so excited about this. Listen for your names! NO POWERS."

Obstacle One: Castaway

Working in pairs, you must straddle what looks suspiciously like punching bags from the gym. Use the ropes Anakin has helpfully strung across the park's pond and make your way from one side to the other!

[OOC: It's the last week, so everyone participates in everything!

Summer was mostly there to check and see who was eligible for free shots tonight at the bar, but she was feeling really glad her name wasn't called. Not so much because of the chocolate pudding (although that was a factor!), but because she had decided to use this moment to finally text Annie, and, well, once she'd done that, she was definitely too busy frowning at her phone a lot to really be all that engaged with the shenanigans.

Liz had missed the last several weeks of this and felt bad since she had told Prompto that she would take part in the activities, even if she now definitely couldn't take part but she decided to come down today and watch and she had her camera with her to take photos.

Not only were they cats this week, but they were Japanese cats, which, while she felt a little culturally offended by them on a caricature level, Sakaki couldn't help but take it as a sign that clearly, she really did need to go home for the break week because all the shirt did was make her feel a sharp pain of desperate homesickness.

Followed by dread because she felt terrible for what these poor cats on her shirt were likely to have to go through once the activities got started.

"Ohhhh no," said Graham, color draining from his face as he realized there was another one over the pond, and you'd better believe, he was going to be straddling that punching bag thing with every muscle in his thighs both times in desperation to ensure that he at least didn't fall off, and boy, was he going to feel glad he hadn't skipped an arm day since he was granted vision of great Buffness at that Reunion!

Well, now, this was....bright. This was definitely a bright shirt, and Amaya didn't know how to feel about the fact that she thought of at least two people she was half-tempted to throw this shirt at, except that she knew better because both of those people would actually end up wearing it.

Although now she was contemplating possibly waltzing into a certain shop today and making the declaration that new clothes were clearly not needed now that she had...

Amaya was definitely in this to win it...or at least in this to do better than Rosa, at any rate, and this one seemed like a good one to try and sweep through with encouragements for her team, so she was quick to the wall and gesturing for the next person to hurry up, crouched slightly with her hands all ready to go to give them a boost to help them up to get started.

You know what else was covered in chocolate pudding? Sakaki's hands, which kept slipping every time she tried to grab onto the bars, leaving her landing in the squishy pudding far more times that she would have liked.

Well, any times was more than she would have liked, but she was clearly not having the best time with this one, no. At least she didn't have any recent cat wounds to worry about chocolate pudding getting into them, though.

Trying to make up for how much time she spent in the pudding for the last round, Sakaki was quick to hopefully position herself to help with getting Tahani over the wall, hoping that this was definitely a case where both their heights could be used to their advantage!

Looking at the purple ones a different team had received, Steve--for the first time--could maybe see why everyone wouldn't love the shirts.

His, with Bigfoot and a hot dog on it, was completely fine though.

Stark did like the shirts with buttons more than the horrifying t-shirts but the patterns really weren't any better. At all. He sighed a little as he changed. As usual.
