No one should be surprised to see the bleachers set up in the park on Wednesday mornings any more, and should probably be giving the center of town a pass if they didn't want to be voluntold into an Exciting Summer Game of some type.

At least snacks were provided?

Anakin was in the middle of the park as usual, surrounded by rope, two-by-fours, and other building materials. Next to him, chittering, was Leroy the Radio Squirrel wearing a jaunty "press" fedora.

"Leroy has informed me at length," Anakin began dryly, "that the squirrels are feeling unappreciated. And while they cannot bite you and make you behave like a moron for an hour like the gremlins, they remind me that they can absolutely destroy every single being here's reputation by making up a story about them and having it end up on the radio."

Anakin glared at the squirrel. "Which is super unethical and definitely prosecutable."

Leroy shrugged, unmoved.

"So today we are going to make an obstacle course for squirrels," Anakin said. "Each team will be in charge of coming up with a portion of an obstacle that you think will stop the radio squirrels from getting to the final prize at the end of the course: rum."

Because of course.

"Listen for your names and get your shirts! There will be seven teams of three."

Duke was resigned to his fate. He would be made to come here every Wednesday and participate in some ridiculous, likely personally embarrassing game.

But hey, at least he wasn't alone. And the food was pretty good.

Nina was... mostly just hoping her name wouldn't be called today?

She was kind of blah, which she didn't like, but, sure, she'd hang out with a few of the healthier snacks and watch other people do silly things.

Well, before those names were called in a way that might totally give him away, guess who was bouncing over to Nina with a completely shameless, incredibly proud grin plastered all over his face. "Two for three so far!" he informed her proudy. "Not too bad, huh, sis?"

Prompto was just sort of the expected ball of bouncy energy, if only because he never thought that he'd be able to sneak away to the island for two weeks in a row. Sidon wasn't able to make it with him this time around, though, and that was kind of a bummer, but, you know, the dude was a prince back with his people, he supposed he could get away with it this time.

Danny was there a good while into this race... thing. But he was really enjoying the whole thing. For some strange reason.

Did he need to have his phone out for video proof of this shit? Yes, absolutely.

Duke was definitely going to need to punch something later.

Build an Obstacle!

There are unlimited moddable supplies: wood, circuitry, tools...and glitter.

Because Fandom.

You have to make an obstacle that takes up roughly a meter of space (you can get bigger) and doesn't actually kill the squirrel. Other than that, it is up to your team!
