Summer Games [Wednesday]
A fully grown Anakin Skywalker was back in his normal spot in the park, megaphone in hand. In addition to the normal bleachers, the park had a number of tables set out with an inordinate amount of craft sticks and hot glue guns.
More worryingly, there was a giant bullseye spray-painted onto the grass.
"Welcome back!" Anakin said, absolutely blustering past the part where last week he'd been 17 years old with a deeply regrettable haircut. "Today you will be building catapults out of craft sticks and glue! It must be capable of propelling a meter tall object towards that bullseye--" he pointed to the grass helpfully. "Whichever team comes closest to hitting the buillseye gets to keep the fish for the week. Do not tank on purpose just because you don't want the fish!"
He glared at everyone to make his displeasure known about that. "You have an hour and a half to work on and complete your design! Please listen for your name to know which group you belong to! Group One: Peter, Norman, Kitty, and Paris. Group Two: Hannibal, Liam, Astrid, and Kanan. Group Three: Sabine, Rosa, Jono, and Tip. Group Four: Zack, Ahsoka, Cristina, and Verity. Group Five: Steve, Bobby, Cara, and Miguel. Group Six: Sidon, Hera, Rey, Amaya, and Uma."
[OOC: EDITED TO ADD: There are also rubber bands, rope, buckets, cloth, macrame gremlin ensembles, and other moddable stuff hiding under the tables. I totally remembered. Really. Cough.]

Construct Catapults!
If at least one person isn't horribly burned by hot glue, you're not doing it right. Freaking hot glue guns...
Group One
Re: Group One
But, hey, at least nobody was going to get gremlin bit?
"Honestly, I'd be more concerned about what the object weighs than how tall it is," he offered, wanting to at least attempt to be helpful.
Re: Group One
Re: Group One
Norman couldn't even lift a rock that big to get it into a catapult. Maybe with a group effort?
"Then again, maybe the closest anyone will be able to get to firing something at the target will be to be able to put the thing into the basket without the whole project falling apart."

Re: Group Two
"At least it isn't macramé."
He didn't particularly want to end up tied to any of his teammates today.
Re: Group Two
"At least I kind of knew where to begin with the macramé," she admitted dolefully.
Re: Group Two
He really didn't want to have to bust out the Force just to keep someone from being flattened by a flying, meter-tall... something.
"Some kind of frame, a spring, some rope, and a bucket."
He looked again at the items set out before them.
"Hopefully we don't have to try to figure out how to make rope and a spring out of wooden sticks and glue."

Re: Group Three
Jono picked up a popsicle stick and looked at it dubiously through his flames.
//At least we aren't gluing pasta to it, too.//
Re: Group Three
She then looked to the kids.
"This is all part of your weird summer camp," she noted. "I'm pretty sure we're," she wiggled a thumb between her and Jono, "are just here to supervise, make sure you don't eat the glue or whatever. So...good luck. Have fun. Don't get any splinters."
Rosa, you literally won a few weeks ago in a group of all adults. You know that's not how this works.
Re: Group Three
He wasn't entirely certain if she was trying to duck out of this herself, or if she was concerned about the fire with the building materials, but he figured he ought to at least attempt to make himself useful.
... From away from the building materials nobody needed to know he wouldn't accidentally set on fire.
//I can look up catapult plans,// he offered, pulling out his phone. //While supervising.//

Re: Group Four
Because that was such a common life skill.
Re: Group Four
If she was going to keep getting roped into these things, she was going to start trying to win, dammit.
Re: Group Four
One that involved Representative Binks and one of Padme's sets of good dinnerware.

Re: Group Six
She'd been building catapults since she was five! Never out of hot glue and popsicle sticks, but how much more challenging could it be?
Re: Group Six
But he wilted, just slightly, shoulders sloping down.
"Er...what's a catapult?"
There was no evidence of them existing in Hyrule, OKAY??
