Shop Class, Wednesday Morning
Sam was sitting on the desk when everyone arrived. The classroom had already been set to resemble a kitchen and a pile of fresh groceries was sitting on one of the counters.
"Morning, guys. Mac's not here, so you get stuck with me for the day. Unfortunately, I can't really do much because of the stupid snow monsters, so I had to improvise. We've done a lot this semester about using science and ingenuity to get ourselves out of dangerous or hazardous situations, but they can be used other places, too."
She gestured to the kitchen and the food, smiling.
"Your assignment for the day, should you choose to accept it, is to make yourself breakfast. The twist? There has to be something about either the food or the way you cook it that is creative in the way of our esteemed, if absent, leader."
"Have fun, and the fire extinguisher's in the corner if you need it."
[ooc: Huge thanks to Xander-mun for finding the real URL for me. Have fun and ping me with any questions or problems.]

Of course, he can't resist the chocolate and goes for the brownies. It's supposed to be triple chocolate but, what the hey, John adds enough for quadruple chocolate. The ingredients go into a bowl, the chooclate included, and, just for kicks, he adds some chocolate chips too.
Into the oven they go!
About forty minutes later, the brownies ping and they're done. And they are gooey! John tries a bite and damn, sweet!

Sliced? That'd be something he should've done before he poured the batter in, huh.
By the time he'd hunted down a knife and managed to break off the stem of the first banana instead of peeling it properly, as
Iyouconstantlydo, the batter wasn't so much batter anymore as... ex-batter. Tired and shagged out after a prolonged charring. Joined the choir invisible but unfortunately not unsmellable.Re: Cooking

She opted for the eggs instead. Of course, scrambled eggs were both easy and boring, so she started adding things. A little milk. Sweet red peppers. Onions. Cheese. Spinach. Bacon bits. Tobasco. Green peppers. Cucumber. Sweet corn. More tobasco. Salt and pepper. Diced apple. Carrots. Lots of tobasco. Chocolate chips. Sliced almonds. Wayyyy too much tobasco. A touch of vanilla extract. And some chili powder, for flavor.
At the last minute, she grabbed Xander's left over banana and added that to the mix, as well.
Then she added several more eggs to compensate for the additional ingredients.
And yes, she might still be a little high from the brownies last night. What of it?
Her tribute to Mac was using tin foil to make her frying pan tall enough to handle the mass of ingredients.

After sliding the eggs onto a plate she repeats the same process with the bacon. Adding the bacon to her plate, she looks around for the appropriate ingredients for the blueberry muffins.
She makes a nice muffin tin out of duct tape and gently pours the batter into the tin. Placing the tin on the pan, Izzie uses the welding tools again to "bake" the muffins.
Finally she uses a swiss army knife to cut several oranges in half. Grabbing a cup and a vise grip, she squeezes the oranges until she has a whole cup of juice.
She glances around the room. She made more than enough food for everyone, so she decides to share.

out of...somethingto cook them in. Just because. The swiss army knife, of course, is used for any and all chopping, stirring, and eating of food. Otherwise it wouldn't be shop class, now would it?
Re: Cooking
Setting that aside, he grabbed a long, rectangular baking tray and poured a liberal amount of cooking alcohol in it. He then used a match to set the alcohol on fire. He used oven gloves to hold the skewer and the pouches over the open flame.
It didn't take long for them to cook.
Kawalsky looked at Sam. "What? Salsa is breakfast."

The tiny cartoons he's carving on them of Itchy and Scratchy chasing down and killing stick-figure vampires, however, are just because it makes him snicker.
