Announcement and Refugee Hosting in The Gym, Friday Evening

The P.A. crackles to life.

"We shall be opening our doors to the poor, powerless townsfolk. They are to gather in the gym. Volunteers to help organize blankets, bedding, food, and etcetera would be very welcome."

Smith then walks down to the gym, props open the doors, and walks away. This was going to be a mess, and he felt ignoring it would be the best method to deal with it, rather than letting his head explode. Again.

[ooc: Huzzah! Townies can come to this post for their safety and warmth! Screening is disabled! Students and Teachers are welcome to organize something... but as it's an emergency, we hath not actually organized the refugee effort! Organize! Be Swift! But above all, interact and have fun!]

Ivanova wandered up, basket of chocolates on her hip and crane floating rather forlornly around her head. "Ve meet again," she says with a grin and a faux-bad-guy accent. "How are you holding up?"

Blair grinned and bounced. "What's a girl like you doing in a place like this?"

"I'm really glad you made it back safely! Things are good here, we seem to be on top of things." He pointed up at the bird. "How's your friend?"

"He's doing just fine," she replied, tapping the bit of paper affectionately. "Here. Have some chocolate. I'm on a mission to spread chocolate-fueled happiness to all refugees."

Blair grinned and took a piece. "That is a good mission, my friend. I wish you luck!"

"Wait...see that guy over there?" Blair points out Tommy Gavin in his thread. "He needs some chocolate-fueled happiness badly."

Ivanova salutes. "I'm on it. Give me a shout if you need a hand." She grinned. "I'll accept standing on a table top yelling 'STELLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!' as an appropriate signal." With that, she headed off, flicking a catnip delight at the snoozing white cat on the pile of blankets.

"Right on, man!" Blair laughed and waved.
