Announcement and Refugee Hosting in The Gym, Friday Evening

The P.A. crackles to life.

"We shall be opening our doors to the poor, powerless townsfolk. They are to gather in the gym. Volunteers to help organize blankets, bedding, food, and etcetera would be very welcome."

Smith then walks down to the gym, props open the doors, and walks away. This was going to be a mess, and he felt ignoring it would be the best method to deal with it, rather than letting his head explode. Again.

[ooc: Huzzah! Townies can come to this post for their safety and warmth! Screening is disabled! Students and Teachers are welcome to organize something... but as it's an emergency, we hath not actually organized the refugee effort! Organize! Be Swift! But above all, interact and have fun!]

GOB made it safely to the gym. That's a good thing because there was still magic to perform at Danger Caritas tonight.

It was a bad thing because he didn't have any of his tricks. He was going to have to wing it later. But for now, it was time to get settled in.

Blair gaped in shock. "Magic guy. You're here...at the school." He looked around. "uh...blanket?"

"Sure thing, kid. Thanks," GOB said. He vaguely recalled this as the kid that Angel guy brought to his show.

"Good work helping to organize this stuff. I appreciate it."

Blair held out one of the nicest blankets and a pair of mittens. "No problem, man. There's pie over there." Blair waved dazedly towards the food line.

"Thanks, kid. For my next trick, I'll make some pie disappear," GOB joked as he walked to the food line.

Blair bounced and debated on whether or not it was it was rude to leave to watch the pie trick. Sighing, he decided to stay and keep accepting donations.
