The library is open, 1/19

Angela is behind the collections desk, iPod earphones in her ears, the Smiths playing loudly.

She'd probably hit the pause button if someone came in.

The notice asking Winifred Burkle to come in for a new card is still taped to the door.

Zero comes in, coffee in hand. "Morning."

"You are entirely not wrong about that." Zero crawls into one of the legspaces under the desk like she belongs there. "I'm here. I'm fulfilling my librarily duty. Wake me up when it's time for Creature Languages. Or if something funny or, y'know, important happens." She yawns.

Janet comes in after ACJ, cheerfully oblivious so far to both the ugly blue dog her roommate has acquired and the invasion of Muppet chickens throughout the school.

Should someone wish to enlighten her, she might have fun with it.

Janet grins. Wow, would it be fun if he were. *hints strongly*

"Weirder than usual," said Janet. "Bugs Bunny as an avatar of destiny, or the gods, or Justice, or whatever he's an avatar of is not something I'm equipped to contemplate at eight in the morning."

Elizabeth wandered into the library after Foreign literature, her head already in a book.

Elizabeth looked up from her book and smiled. "Hey, Angela. Thanks!"

Rory took a seat behind the desk, and worked a bit on her notes for Campaigning.

Janet grinned at Rory. "How's it going?" she asked.

"Pretty good," Rory yawned. "Sleepy, but good. you?"

Parker comes in, looking tired. "God, Thursdays, whose good idea was that?"

Re: Sixth Period

[identity profile] mparkerceo.livejournal.com 2006-01-20 12:54 am (UTC)(link)
Parker stuck her tongue out at her. "I had none yesterday, and I only have one tomorrow, but God, Thursdays and Tuesdays make up for it. Especially with StuCo and I-Club on the same day." She let her head thud to surface of the counter.

If a book falls in the library, and no one is there to shelve it, is it really in the wrong place?

Re: Seventh period

[identity profile] mparkerceo.livejournal.com 2006-01-20 12:26 am (UTC)(link)
It's in the library. It's in it's larger space. Petty shelving systems do not constrain the books.
