The P.A. crackles to life, and Zordon's monotonous, booming voice can be heard all across the campus.

"Will all teenagers with attitude please pay attention? Today, we have new students arriving. Room assignment sheets and keys are being distributed currently out of my office the Command Center, as the main office is currently unmanned. As our illustrious principal would say, never hire a man to do a machine's job." There is a short pause. "All incoming students should obtain their assignments and keys as soon as possible. Please note that some current students have changed to on-campus housing, and some of you currently living in the dorms now have new roommates and neighbors. Enjoy."

The P.A. then goes quiet for a brief moment before a burst of static through which clanking and occasional exclamations of "Ay-yi-yi-yi-yi!" may be heard.

Zordon is, of course, stuck in his tube. Alpha 5 sits outside the door to the Command Center, a box of manila envelopes ready to hand out to those students who have already turned in their Resident Life forms.

Any current students who would like to request a change of rooms or need to swap out their keys can also stop by and pick up or drop off their forms.


OOC Note: Am currently at work, and may be a bit slow to respond. After 6PM PST/9PM EST responses will be much quicker. Feel free to roleplay dropping by to get your rooming assignments. (agent_principal will probably be dropping in later as well to man the table.) Until then? Just grab your envelope. Inside are the official room assignment forms (i.e. proof that you belong there) and your room key.

Roommates have been assigned according to what we thought would be fun situations for everyone to roleplay. You are, of course, free to request a room change at a later date, but consider this a fun beginning-of-term bonding exercise. *g*

Dragging her luggage, Isabel approached the table. And stopped. There was a robot... But then again, she'd already seen a dragon. And at this point, she was too tired to really think much about it. She just wanted to get to her room and get unpacked.

"I'm Isabel Evans. I was wondering if I could get my room assignment?"

Pip comes up and tries extremely hard to not stare at the frantic robot behind the table. Stacked behind him is a large pile of luggage, topped by a guitar case.

"Pip Bernadette?" he asks. "Is there any paperwork I need to sign? Please tell me no more paperwork."

Mac joins the fray at the table, with little more than momentary shock at the form of the robot handing out keys left right and center. She was still more distracted by a previously dead aquaintance.

She gives an unsure smile. "Uh, I was hoping to pick up my room keys?"

It's obvious Yuffie is more then ready to dump her bags somewhere, anywhere. All things concidering it would be best if that was in her room. She makes her way into the office, blinking at the robot before grinning. "Hey! Robot!" For some reason this seems to amuse her greatly as she makes her way to the table.

"Hey, Mr Robot... are you a real robot? That's so cool! Anyways, I need to get my room asignment."

Lyta enters the corridor, seeing the other students as they approach, gather their information, and then depart. She offers a half-smile-half-inquisitive expression as she approaches the table. A feeling of relief washes over her as she sees the robot as the main point of contact, with a taller, angular-featured man hovering in the background.

"I'd like to pick up my room assignment, please."

Blair finally tore himself away from the meet and greet and made his way to the 'command center' to pick up his dorm assignment. He was quiet as he waited, thinking about everything people had told him in the lobby. He was sure they weren't playing a trick on him, but this was, as Naomi said...a lot to process.

"Hi, I'm-" Blair stopped as he looked at the robot sitting at the table. He was going to meditating till the next millenium. "Ahem. I'm Blair Sandburg. I'm a new freshman. I think I'm supposed to see you for my keys?"

Togusa wove his way through the new students, keeping the expression on his face pleasant. Never hire a man to do a machine's job? He snickered a little.

The robot he saw made him blink twice before he extended his hand for his key. "I also wanted to get my assignment?"

After a bit of searching, Victor finally found the building he was looking for. He had been acutely aware how obviously he looked like a Freshman as he had stood at the entrance, trying to make sense of the campus map, and he was relieved to be in the right place. Especially because his luggage was beginning to get heavy...

There were several other students around, none of who looked like mutants. They didn't seem to be staring, though, so Victor relaxed a little bit. They seemed to be gathering around a robot who was handing out things, so Victor stood in line and waited for his turn. After a few moments, he was finally face-to-face with the contraption, who seemed as nervous as he was. Despite himself, Victor couldn't help but smile. Maybe this place won't be too ba dafter all... he hoped.

"Um...sir?" he asked, "I was told I had to come here to get my room?"

Walter draped his garment bag over his suitcase and waited for his turn. He was surprised by the robot, but more surprised by how inefficiently it was doing things.

He reminded himself that he was a student here. Let other people keep things from falling apart for a change.

"Walter Dornez. I'm here to get my room assignment and key."

Ivanova hesitated. She wasn't a new student, but new to the dorms. And apparently had a key waiting for her. She steps up to the little robot. "Ah, I need a key. Susan Ivanova."

Lilly comes up to Alpha 5, just accidentally dropping her bag, so that she has to bend over and pick it up right in front of Alpha 5's sexy, robotic self.

"Hi, Mr. Dean's assistant or whatever. I heard we can apply to live in the dorms here? I think the drone who worked in Res Affairs lost my application because she's totally jealous of me. But my friend Allie Cameron, she's a student, and I would like to live together in the dorms if we could.

It would be really great if you could hook us up with a suite," she says with a wink.
