The P.A. crackles to life, and Zordon's monotonous, booming voice can be heard all across the campus.

"Will all teenagers with attitude please pay attention? Today, we have new students arriving. Room assignment sheets and keys are being distributed currently out of my office the Command Center, as the main office is currently unmanned. As our illustrious principal would say, never hire a man to do a machine's job." There is a short pause. "All incoming students should obtain their assignments and keys as soon as possible. Please note that some current students have changed to on-campus housing, and some of you currently living in the dorms now have new roommates and neighbors. Enjoy."

The P.A. then goes quiet for a brief moment before a burst of static through which clanking and occasional exclamations of "Ay-yi-yi-yi-yi!" may be heard.

Zordon is, of course, stuck in his tube. Alpha 5 sits outside the door to the Command Center, a box of manila envelopes ready to hand out to those students who have already turned in their Resident Life forms.

Any current students who would like to request a change of rooms or need to swap out their keys can also stop by and pick up or drop off their forms.


OOC Note: Am currently at work, and may be a bit slow to respond. After 6PM PST/9PM EST responses will be much quicker. Feel free to roleplay dropping by to get your rooming assignments. (agent_principal will probably be dropping in later as well to man the table.) Until then? Just grab your envelope. Inside are the official room assignment forms (i.e. proof that you belong there) and your room key.

Roommates have been assigned according to what we thought would be fun situations for everyone to roleplay. You are, of course, free to request a room change at a later date, but consider this a fun beginning-of-term bonding exercise. *g*

"Oh, you're very shiney! Do you have my room assignment?"

"Yes, Zordon is very shiny. Miss Longstocking." Smith says it very matter-of-fact, no hint of a question involved. He digs for a moment and produces a manilla folder. "Welcome to our school. You will find your room assignment enclosed." He extends the arm holding the envelope and offers it to Pippi.

Pippi takes the folder and shakes Smith's hand before he can retract it.

"Thank you very much sir," she said as she continues to shake his had with a good firm grip and urtseys as she does so. "You know me, but I don't know you, who are you?"

Still shaking his hand.

Smith's eyebrows jump a little, but he keeps his cool and smiles. "I would be your Principal. Principal Smith, head of this school. You've got a good handshake, Miss Longstocking. Fine quality for a person to have."

At the mention that he is the Principal she practily comes to attention.

"Oh Mr. Pricipal Smith sir. Thank you very much sir."

"You're welcome. Respect is another cherished attribute. I like you already." Smith nods and turns away for a moment to look through the box of envelopes. Turning back he is smiling.

"Unless there is anything else you require of me, I do believe the student body is more capable of entertaining conversation than an old administrator like me. Run along and meet some new people."
