Janet stopped in and grabbed her paperwork from the office not-so-coincidentally checking on the package Methos had received. Then switched to the computer behind the Collections Desk, where she continued working on the backlog of orders to be entered.

"How's it going?" Janet asked Methos. "We're taking Rory into Special Collections today."

"Why do I have the sudden feeling that we're in an old war movie, and the next scene will be me writing a letter to Rory's mother about how she is missing in action?"

Draco comes into the library and starts browsing through the books. He had no idea what he wanted his language paper to be on.

"Quiet!" exclaimed Janet, glancing warily at the door to Special Collections. "Don't give it any ideas. Besides, Rory's mom teaches here. You knew that, right?"

Methos gave her a look. "Yes, I knew. Honestly, you think I'm so out of touch. How is Rory doing? I know that the library can be... overwhelming, even without the sentient parts."

John comes into the library, heads for the physics sections and proceeds to bury himself in books for his Quantum Physics project.

Angela walks into the library and joins Janet and Dr. Pierson behind the desk. She sets to work processing some returns.

[The Doctor stalks in early that morning, greeting no one, and starts going through the card catalogue (http://www.livejournal.com/community/fandomhigh/432476.html) like a bat out of hell. Occasionally he scrawls some numbers on a notepad. Focused, determined, hungover, annoyed...that about sums it up.]

"Of course I think you're out of touch," said Janet, looking at him innocently. "I think all adults are out of touch. It's a requirement of being a teenager." She snickered. "Seriously, I think she's doing fine. The library seems to be taking it easy on both of them while they get their bearings."

Belthazor makes a visit to the library and heads over to the philosophy section, browing the books on Japanese Buddhism.

Methos mutters something under his breath. It makes no sense, but the words "apparent age" are heard. "I'm glad to hear that the library is being kind to them."

Rory waves back, and grins, thinking of the mistletoe in her bag. She wonders if Marty and Angela would be good candidates for her experiment.

Parker walked in, saw Angela and Rory, and walked over.

"Are you mentally prepared for getting very, very lost?" Parker said with small grin. "This might take a while."

Parker waves on her way in, and says, "Hey. I'm asking Zero about using her club for the Good Guys Brigade as soon as she gets in."

After Classics and her meeting with the Doctor, Sam walked into the library and threw her books on one of the tables before heading over towards the card catalog and pulling out one of the drawers.

"Anthropology...Ants...Astrology, no, that's too far..."

Angela walks over. "Hi. We're supposed to take Rory into Special Collections today, so ... this may be the last time you see me." She's smiling, clearly not actually scared.

"Also, there might be a monkey throwing books," Angela adds, grinning.
