Angela walks into the library and joins Janet and Dr. Pierson behind the desk. She sets to work processing some returns.

Rory waves back, and grins, thinking of the mistletoe in her bag. She wonders if Marty and Angela would be good candidates for her experiment.

Parker walked in, saw Angela and Rory, and walked over.

"Are you mentally prepared for getting very, very lost?" Parker said with small grin. "This might take a while."

"Also, there might be a monkey throwing books," Angela adds, grinning.

"Monkey?" Rory asks, looking excited. "Yay! Yeah, I'm ready."

"See, this is why I send you girls in there. I go in? And I disappear for a week. Then again, I do come out with a pet. Rory, have you met Dante?" Methos gestures to the small salamander cheerfully burning in his terranium.

"Hi Dante," Rory said cheerily, waving through the glass at the salamander. "He's supposed to be on fire, right?"

"He seems happy that way. Oddly, if you pick him up, he doesn't burn your hand, so... I've been thinking of bring marshmellows in and see how they work on him."

"That would be the best science experiment," Angela said. "Especially if there were, like, graham crackers and chocolate too."

"Does he burn anything but himself? Maybe it's the coating on his skin, or something,?" Rory mused.

Angela gives the salamander another look, peering more closely. "Dunno. He's kind of cute, though, in a lizard way."
