The Library (Thursday)

Around ten, Zero comes by the library and, realizing it's still locked down, sets about opening it up. The first person to enter will find that half of the lights are still off and a very pissed-off pink cat is sitting on the Circulations Desk.

*Puffs up and hunches up like a little pink snowball of terror.*

Mrrawrree. Mrrrrrr.

//Cam. Do not eat me. Says so on the collar.//

*Makes a leap for the desk.*

He might have calmed down, but there's movement. Pink bouncy movement and Cameron lunges after it like he would have done after a ball. Only, this is a much older instinct that he really doesn't get.

He's too slow, though. Zero already had a head start and she seems to be a lot more steady on her feet than he is. As she leaps up on the desk, Cameron slides across the floor and bangs, muzzle first, against the same desk.

[The Doctor watches, completely bewildered.] ...er.

*Zero peers down anxiously*

Mrreeerr?

//Are you all right?//

Cameron shakes his head only to find the cat taunting him from above.

/Not funny./ He barks up at it and gets back to his paws, jumping up and down against the desk to try and get to the pink cat.

"Hey!" Parker dances back, while trying to get between Cam and Zero. "You get your paws on the Armani, I am *so* telling Mal Doran to kennel you. Cut it out! Not-a-toy! Not-a-snack! Stop it!"

It's all a bit confusing. It's Parker and Zero, but it's also a cat. Cats are bad in his book. He's not sure why, but it just is. He barks up against Parker's legs as the cat is up there on her head.

/Cat. Bad. Cat. Bad./

Parker notices what's going on at this juncture, and her eyes widen. "NO! Bad Cam! No chasing Zero!" She stalks over, then frowns at him. "Are you okay, you fuzzy cute moron?"

*Zero starts to back away, then thinks better of this course of action and jumps.

Onto Parker's head.*

MOW! Rrrrrrrr.

//omg omg keep it away.//

[The Doctor decides that he'd rather be scratched than witness Parker with a cat on her head. He lifts Zero off and holds her out, setting her back on the Circ Desk at arms' length. Some of Parker's hair probably comes with.]

Hisssssssss.

//No! No, you moron, that's closer to the DOG!//

*Realizes what she just said.*

Mrrraw.

//I'll apologize for that later OMG DOG.//

Cameron would point out that he's a wolf and not a dog, but he doesn' speak Cat. As Zero is back on the desk, he runs the opposite direction. As he reaches the wall, he turns around and starts running towards the desk so he can jump up on it in one go.

*puffy terrified snowball*

//AAAIIIEEEEEEEEEEE!//

[The Doctor picks her back up, holding her gingerly above his head, and rolls his eyes.] Meow--yee graw. //I be no 'moron'.//

[He glares at Cam.] Stay.

Marty looks up from studying to see the ruckus. He pulls out the ball that he keeps for Vladdie and waves it around.

"Here puppy! Ball!"

*shaking in The Doctor's arms.*

Mrrawr reep.

//I'm sorry, okay, but it wants to eat me.//

[Ten sighs and puts his arms down to pet her.] Mrr. Mrrow...yeep?...prr. //Forsooth, I daresay he dassn't care t'consume thee. Bat thee about, aye.//

...mrrf.
//Now I ken Adam's desire f'beer.//

"Oh god. Bad, bad, bad Cam!" Parker looks for something, then kicks a stool into his path at the last second.

He's got too much speed and too much paws and no damn breaks. Why don't wolves come with breaks? He slams right into the stool, head first and there's a tumble of stool and fuzz and a lot whining and whimpering as he finally lands on his back.

"Awwww." Parker scritches him behind the ears as she helps him de-tangle himself. "I think the canine brain is taking over, Cam. And not in a good way."

Wait, WHAT? [He squints at the dog...wolf...being.] Is that MITCHELL?

"Yes. He's been a dog for day or so now." Parker kneels by him, feeling guilty. "Aww. Cam, you poor thing. I'm sorry, I had to--" She slaps her forehead. "What am I saying?"

But she still helps Cam get untangled from the stool. And scritches him behind the ears.

/Cat!/ He parks at Parker, still a bit disorientated.
